“I've been coming here for over 30 years and now my kids play there. Well kept grass, play equipment gets updated every so often. When I was young it was all wood with a big tire swing. But the old metal slide as well,lol. It's on the edge of the bike/walking path and it's a popular place to walk your dog and such.”

“This park is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing time. It provides great seating under shaded areas for parents and guardians looking to keep a close eye on their children. There are two play areas, one for 3-5 years of age, and another area for 6 years and up. There are plenty of fun activities to play on, slide down, and climb on. There is a large grassy field area for ball playing and other large planned events. A nice cement path wraps around the entire park for a relaxing walk and bench / tabled areas sit on the outskirts of the younger play area. There is even a half basketball court with one hoop for anyone looking to ball out. My favorite part is the location, which takes place in a very quiet neighborhood with seemingly older residents, which means park upkeep is on the top priority list for the city. I thoroughly enjoy this park and my kids have tons of fun. I've also been to planned events at this park and I never felt like the area was too small to support large parties of 50-80 people. “I have visited Laurel Creek over many years in every type of weather. Cross country skiing in the midst of a snow storm; canoeing in dead calm water or battling a significant headwind on a blowy day; hiking with my dog through an abundance of interesting trails. “This is the second year we have done this - our "After Christmas" party for our great Raynard & Peirce real estate team - and - it was outstanding again. Heidi and Mike just kept the appetizers coming hot out of the kitchen. Bowls of Mussels with bread to dunk, rice "balls", chicken satay, crab cakes, steak tacos, crostini with gorgonzola and wild mushrooms. An Indian restaurant attached with a bar you can just have a drink at or enjoy a meal. Very friendly staff. Would stay there again.”

“I stayed here overnight last night on a solo getaway. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!! The room was very clean. The lobby staff nice. The room spacious. The room has a clean refrigerator and microwave. It was very quiet and I was able to get a good nights rest. The breakfast in the morning very good. My only complaint is my room (212) was right outside the pool and the kids were loud in the pool in the morning, but other than that, it was a very comfortable stay. I’ll definitely return.”
