“This business is a one-woman operation working in a professionally converted ADU/medical clinic at her home on Santa Cruz’s Westside. When I was first referred to Rochelle, I was upset about having lymphedema on the heels of cancer diagnosis and treatment during the COVID pandemic. I was overwhelmed. Rochelle promptly put me at ease with her gentle hands and warm, friendly manner. She got right to work on alleviating the symptoms, constantly telling me what she saw and felt, while teaching me how to manage at home. Rochelle draws from her background in therapeutic massage and physical therapy to personalize hands-on lymphatics drainage as well as recommendations for appropriate medical equipment. She was very helpful in helping me jump insurance hurdles to obtain the best mechanical lymphatics drainage at home. Did I mention how clean her office/treatment room is? “After suffering a sprained ankle that never fully healed (1.5 years) and a bad case of plantar fisciitis (6 months) in my other foot I reluctantly agreed to PT-- a full hour drive from my home. It was very evident after my first meeting with Hayden Block I had come to the right place. Hayden carefully considered my situation and to my surprise diagnosed my problem due to extremely stiff ankles (no movement) and the way I walked being the root of the problem. The real trick was to help me understand how I can support my healing by understanding my movement and of course implementing stretches and strength exercises. Hayden's anatomy knowledge is so impressive along with his ability to clearly communicate the solutions which i could fully grasp and implement into my daily life. Over the course of 12 appointments, Hayden along with Gillian & Annie, patiently watched my PT routines fine tuning each movement with great insight so I could do them correctly on my own. They did not simply treat my symptoms but got down right away to the main cause of the problem. I am so very grateful to Hayden, Annie and Gillian for their amazing work and attitudes. “I have been seeing Eric and occasionally others for various injuries for the past 10 years now and have been very happy with the treatments that I have received. The staff is very professional and extremely kind and helpful. Yes, the appointments should be made in advance. They are booked because they are GOOD! Once you know your regiment, you are given your exercises to complete and sometimes you have a one on one intern to assist and direct you. After exercises are complete, I get a great massage, sonogram, and ice and stem or usually heat. I have been VERY pleased with the quality of care and treatment. HIGHLY REC. Char is also amazing!”
