“This discovery center is relatively small but filled with great educational stations, opportunities for hands on experiences and beautiful views upon exiting. I enjoyed my visit because it didn't feel overwhelming. Also, I appreciated that the staff welcomed curious adults like myself to touch animals and get involved without making you feel a kind of way. Great place for family trips, dates and solo exploration. Plus, beautiful area to take pics. I recommend this place hands down!”

Unfortunately due to my busy schedule I was only able to attend breakfast on one morning. I was greeted by a young lady, Camille. Her bright smile and pleasant vibe was a great start to my day! “Beautiful place full of natural beauty trails and things to see. I feel like the trails could have been marked a little better as the signs were at a bare minimum, other people were trying to find it , and chatted with us about how poorly it was marked, however after a few trys we found it. I would definitely like to go back at some point it was very beautiful.”

“While walking around Davenport, everyone should take a few minutes to visit the Davenport Jail. There really is not much to see here. However, it is very worth a stop because the the Davenport Jail is a national historic site. The jail building is small and cute, but I doubt its inmates appreciated its cuteness.”
