“Wonderful memories were made! My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room (Cottage Suite) was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the hot tub in the balcony was amazing while relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shore. There's a kitchenette that includes necessary dishes and utensils. There's also a hot outdoor shower, perfect for using before and after using the hot tub. The location was perfect. It's only a short walk to the beach, pier, and boardwalk. Breakfast was freshly baked/cooked and was delicious! The entire staff was very warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be return customers in the future. Thank you!”

“My family spent a week vacation in Santa Cruz at the Torch Lite and we'd do it again. The location is perfect. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Boardwalk and 10 minutes to downtown restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and recently updated so everything is new. We enjoyed sitting out on their second floor patio, but note that their pool had been removed. My only small complaints were our room was not serviced during our stay and the bath soap and shampoo weren't very high quality.”

“My daughters and I stayed at the Seaway Inn on March 21st and the office manager Kaitlyn helped us. She was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Since we had been unable to reach our home in the Santa Cruz Mountains due to the storm, we were thankful to encounter Kaitlyn. Our room was clean and cheerful as well. We also are so happy you allow pets, although we didn't have our dog with us. We had a great experience and we would definitely recommend this inn to visitors.”

“We were pleased with our stay. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but the room was actually really clean. No bugs, no grime, no stray hairs. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially with a big truck, but we made it work fine. They even left complimentary ear plugs, which cracked me up. Didn't use them, but appreciated the thoughtfulness. Not far from the boardwalk either, which was great. Thanks Riverside. 👍”

“The rooms are nice and the location is ideal. Was irritated that at their already late check-in time our room was not available. When we showed up they informed us that there had been a maintenance issue that had not been mentioned in the communication we had with the hotel earlier in the day. Also guests can come and go at anytime during their stay and the walls are very thin. A pair of guests came back at 2am stumbling down the hallway and the up the stairs. We could hear them stomping through the ceiling. Overall I would recommend, but only if you are a deep sleeper.”

“It’s a nice little motel. An easy half mile walk to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. You can feel the age dim the building. The elevator looks like you might get mugged in it. The rooms are nice. The bed was comfortable. Everything in the room was clean. If you’re looking for a a place to stay this would be a good one.”

“I had an excellent experience during my stay at SpringHill Suites in Chesapeake. The cleanliness of the room and the helpful staff made all the difference. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule I was only able to attend breakfast on one morning. I was greeted by a young lady, Camille. Her bright smile and pleasant vibe was a great start to my day! The coffee was hot and the fruit fresh! I’ll definitely be use this location on my next business trip.”

“My daughter and I were both sick. We did a web check in early in the morning before they even opened and we got a call from them in less than 10 minutes to let us know how long the wait was. We got a call maybe an hour later and we got there in 5 minutes, we signed a few papers and sat down for about 5 minutes in the lobby and they send us to our room. The convenience of waiting at your home instead of the clinic is a major plus. The staff were friendly, the PA that saw us was nice. There is no such thing of drive thru care, it's not McDonalds, so never expect to have fast, immediate service anywhere. The place is packed and the wait time might be 3-4 hours, so wait at home instead so it doesn't feel as bad of a wait. Care now staff try to give a fast convenient way to see the doctor, we are grateful that they are available on the weekends.”

“Amazing location, 10 min walk from downtown, & 5 min walk from the boardwalk. Room in side house was beautiful, staff is very accommodating, everything is clean and organized. Found my new spot, I will definitely be bringing the misses back. Didn't have to touch the car for 3 days & they have off street parking. All in all we both think their biggest area of improvement is their coffee in the morning. 5 out of 5 stars.”

“Now my favorite hotel in Santa Cruz. Will stay here every time I come. The lady at the front desk was fantastic and Roman the maintenance guy was so very helpful. Roman helped me and my son lock our paddle boards up to keep them safe while we stayed there. The room and bed was amazingly comfortable. I felt so very safe. I slept very well in the room. Can’t wait to return. Thank you for everything.”

“Paradox is a really beautiful venue for a gathering, work related events & certainly a wedding reception or other. I attended an event and did not stay over so my opinion is limited. That's said I thunk it's a beautiful property with a lot to offer. It's minutes from sand & surf, (even walking.) The front desk folks were truly lovely. Food was quite excellent. A deeply joyful occasion influenced this, so take what you will from the photos & my words.”
