“Highly recommend The Best Beach Houses! Just enjoyed another fabulous family vacation at Alihi Lani Unit 4 on Kauai. Amazing 180 degree ocean view where we watched for sea turtles, porpoise, and more. We even spotted a very large group of Rays at dusk feeding close to shore with fin tips flying up out of the water! There’s a spacious furnished lanai, room for everyone to hang out together or separately. Gorgeous modern kitchen is fully-stocked with all you need. Lots of music CDs, games, books, movies, beach and pool stuff, A/C, W/D … amenities galore. Love the attractive island decor, comfy furniture and beautiful art. Everything is updated, clean and obviously well maintained. Oceanfront pool & BBQ area is lovely any time of day. Plus, it’s walking distance to beautiful Poipu Beach, nice shops and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave! Owner Cynthia Haines is super responsive and helpful -- obviously cares a lot about her properties and guests.”

“During this Covid-19 pandemic, the church meets for Sunday worship virtually via Zoom. They are very welcoming and will email the link to attend if you call the church to ask. The Zoom services include lots of music by the local community, time for prayer, silent meditation, and sharing of joys and concerns. Pastor Jane is well aware of people's need for connection during Covid. Her sermons often address our current social and emotional issues, woven in with a biblical text, creating a story and message that resonates with our needs today. I highly recommend attending! “My brother has been a resident at Wesley House III for a number of years, and overall we are very pleased with the quality of his care. While there has been considerable turnover in the staff over that period of time, the family that runs the facility has proven time and time again to be dedicated to the well-being of my brother, and from what I've seen, to all the residents. That dedication is reflected in their training of new staff, keeping the facility clean, the preparation of daily meals from scratch, and attention to detail in their tending of the beautiful grounds. Caring for the elderly and those with disabilities is very difficult and emotionally draining work. In my experience, the team at Wesley House II and III does it with a seemingly endless reserve of patience and grace.”

I’ve been going to this store since I was a kid and so many memories of this place during the summers, now it’s owned by a different person and it looks different from what it used to be, the sandwich’s have definitely raised in prices as well as the drinks and the alcohol I would say it’s worth it but honestly $11.99 for a sandwich?? That’s a little ridiculous.”
