“Went to see Wyatt Earp's grave. It's a little hard to find, not really marked, but it's very powerful. Someday the graves will go all the way up over the hills and that will be a sight to see. Groundskeepers were pretty nice, there was a ceremony taking place too that I avoided.”

The lot I purchased would not have been available either, for the best lots were sold many years ago at Skylawn. Terry the owner was so compassionate on the phone, explained the basics and guided me, in such a thoughtful manner. I personally worked with Jason Salvador, who showed me the different possibilities for mom at Skylawn Memorial. He was kind and new the cemetery layout so well - he had worked for Skylawn previously and knew all about the cemetery. There was no pressure and he simply showed me the possibilities. I could not have asked for a better or easier process. I found the most beautiful plot for mom!! I could not have afforded it! If, it had not been for this amazing company. I have attached a couple of pics - at purchase time and after the burial. There is such a spectacular view of the mountains and of Half Moon Bay!! So peaceful!!! Jason, then set up a meeting with Kenny of Skylawn to do all the paper work. It was simple to pay for the different parts. He stayed with me for all the important details. I am so thankful for Terry and Jason!! They were so helpful and made this part so much better and easier. It is so hard to lose someone and have all these decisions and details. The service their company offered me, allowed me to honor mom in the most wonderful way. My highest recommendation!!!”

“This was a great place to walk. Very interesting! Could use more trees, but very tranquil, with great views. (edit: I just read Cadillac Desert and now think trees are inappropriate for this location! lol) I came here to go for a walk; this is the 1st Buddhist cemetery I've been to! I enjoyed noticing the shape of the cemetery and the sculptures and ornamentation.”

It feels much more sacred than traditional American cemeteries and more at peace. If you've never stopped to check it out then I suggest you do, it's right in our backyard!”
