From the Medical Receptionist to the Medical Assistant to Dr Wylie himself, everyone was very warm and friendly and helpful and caring. After being denied care in Ramona because I was a traveler “just passing through”, it was great to be treated with dignity and consideration by this welcoming team. Dr Wylie is thorough and competent and spent plenty of time with me and shared a lot of information which helped me have a better understanding of what was going on with my health. “We really like coming into this vet - the techs are all extremely kind and friendly and go out of their way to help, even just over the phone. Even though there isn’t currently a permanent vet, we’ve had really good care with the relief vets (and we appreciated that the one we’ve mainly seen is very current on research, diets, etc!). For regular care for mostly healthy pets, this is a great place to come! If you have an emergency or a pet with a serious condition who needs to be seen frequently and by the same vet each time, you’ll probably need to go down the hill — but for ordinary care, this is a great place where you’ll feel like your pet’s care and comfort (and your concerns, too) are prioritized. “I'm a wedding photographer and I absolutely loved shooting here. The location is amazing with so many places to get beautiful shots. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but that's typical of Julian on a Saturday. I would love to photograph another wedding here and I thoroughly recommend Oakwood Creek.”

“A long time favorite in Julian! They offer a good selection of entrees and just recently started offering breakfast. The pot pie was delicious! While it isn't the prettiest presentation, it has so much flavor! The crust was flaky and they use a brown gravy inside. There were a variety of vegetables and chunks of chicken. The salad was cold, crisp and fresh when served. The ranch dressing was tasted like it may be homemade. All entrees ordered were hearty portion sizes and very filling. The cold cider was my favorite in all of Julian that we tried. The server was friendly and kept our drinks filled.”
