“I've eaten at this restaurant 5 times now and it keeps getting better and apparently the word is out. The first few times we went there were very few people eating but this last time we went they were packed. Their prices are pretty darn good but the food is great and a nice ambiance. So far we've had the fish burrito, chili relleno, chili relleno burrito and carnitas. The chips are fresh and crispy with a great salsa. We just keep going back and our friends from Encinitas came up to join us for the second time. Also, I had a great margarita. Fresh lime juice.”

“From start to finish - this vacation property and its owners/managers are TOP Notch! Missy greeted us promptly at the property. The property was as advertised - even better! Clean, Comfortable and Spacious! The appliances were top grade, the kitchen was very well stocked and the bed/bedding very comfortable! The location could not have been better. Just doors from the beach and a short walk into the village of Carlsbad. We can't wait to come back!! “Our family had a great stay here. We even extended our stay because of how great everything was. The employees are all friendly and helpful, the location is perfect next to the beach, and many restaurants within walking distance to enjoy. They even have beach towels, chairs, and toys you can borrow. The hotel was clean. The friendly front desk woman (sorry, I didn't catch your name) made us feel welcome and was so helpful with our room extensions. Thank you to the whole team for a great experience. “One of my favorite beaches in San Diego County, its not ridiculously over populated or crowded depending on the time of year and day. Summer months when school is out is if course, a but more busy, but the beach is very much enjoyable and calming. The beach spans a good part of Carlsbad and is surrounded with cute shops, restaurants, parks, lodging, and a cute walkable downtown area. Almost everything else is within walking distance. When I lived in Orange County, Carlsbad was one of the places I’d venture off to, as it’s a good place to visit to refresh, relax and rejuvenate, and it was only a short 45 min drive on the 5 south. Its a nice little day trip and I really miss having easy and quick accessibility to a city like Carlsbad.”

“Great experience for lunch here. It was a cold day so sat in the bar facing the ocean. Nice atmosphere and a little more cozy than the restaurant. Ordered the house salad with grilled salmon. A very large salad, generous and delicious potion of salmon, topped with cranberries and a delicious vinaigrette. I really enjoyed my lunch. Service was excellent and friendly. “Carlsbad state beach is the relaxation zone. Grab a spot on this beach and enjoy the suns nice rays. Lots of friendly faces and people to enjoy and share this beach with. Pets are allowed. There's volleyball nets and a constant lifeguard on duty during the day. A nice set of stairs was added to accommodate the incoming and outgoing flow of people. There's always a few helicopters or planes flying by but that's expected when theres a military base not too far away. Have fun, be safe and enjoy the calming ocean and its waves. Peace. Love.
