“San jaun bautista is a wonderful Historic little Town I visited 10 days ago mainly because of "Alfred Hitchcocks" film Vertigo, I stumbled upon a Spanish/ American Festival with Street foods and many other goods, there was a band playing such a wonderful atmosphere, the people were so happy and welcoming. I spoke with Linda in her little Store "Vintage Curosity" she was very interesting to talk to and informed me where in town I could sleep in my car as I was touring the States on the cheap. Next morning after a piecefull night I went for breakfast at the little dinner with red & white chequered floor the lady was great, wonderful Coffee & tasty toast and marmalade, next I visited "Windmill Market" this was the best little Supermarket I stopped at whilst in the States for 3 weeks highly recommend. I was sad to leave many folk said come back and see us again, fantastic slice of old traditional America i loved it. 👌❤️”

Not only did we find the perfect car for my son but Andrew (owner) ensured it was fully inspected, drove our new purchase to our home to avoid the trek back to Hollister AND filled the tank when delivered. small details were not left unnoticed!! “These guys work hard to make sure that you were satisfied with their car wash. They start with spraying your car down with bug dissolver followed by pressure washing the entire vehicle. But then goes through we automated brushes. Out the other end to the detail area where they Are waiting for you to dry it off and apply tire treatment on. A word of caution if you’re driving a big pick up truck is pretty tight corners. Although I was just passing through when I use this facility I certainly will be back”

“Had a strong burrito craving and always wanted to check this place out. Arrived at 11am, order was taken quickly. Had some time to grab a few small containers of salsa to-go and our order was ready before I could even finish loading up at the salsa bar. Got home and the Al Pastor burrito and nachos were really good. Add to that the salsa and you got a winner right here. Will be back!”

“This is a very cute, family owned motel. The buildings are pretty old but the rooms inside are fairly up to date, and extremely clean (tile floors instead of carpet helps with that a lot). We stayed there after our RV site was washed out by the March 2023 rainstorms (don't worry, the only thing we lost of value was a fancy gas grill😀 Speaking of grills, the motel has a pretty nice gas grill and picnic area in the parking lot, and the pool looked very inviting, though it was a touch too cold to really think about using them. Oh, and the Cinderella is also dog friendly! Though be aware that if you're not, the owner does have a couple dogs of her own that she keeps in the back, and when they're out, they are a bit barky. That said the one dog I actually met while checking in was super friendly, and very excited to meet new people! All in all, if you're looking for an inexpensive, but comfortable place to stay in Hollister, I highly recommend the Cinderella.”

“This was a to-go order, burgers are always cooked very well here. I got the California burger which was amazing the bun was toasted nicely and all the toppings are served on the side (the lettuce was very fresh and crisp) so you decide what you throw on your burger. I got onion rings as a side and they were good as well. The price is not bad at all for the quality ingredients used. Definitely a must check out spot when looking for a Burger and local business!”

“I like to go to this carwash because it’s actually the first only one I have seen that has a person who receives you at the entrance, directs you to positioning your car and scrubs the front, sides and back of your car ( I might be wrong and maybe there’s more places with this service) They have different prices for you to choose from or you can also get a monthly membership. You can pay at the machine before you enter with credit card or you can actually go inside and pay at the counter. My car was super dirty this time and looks very clean with the 9 dollar wash. They also have a convenient space with several vacuums, the downside is that only two vacuums work right now. They also have trash cans near the vacuums so you can dispose you garbage there.”

“Mexican lady didn't speak a lick of English. She was very friendly, though. Really enjoyed the fresas con crema. Saw a sign by the register for $1 scoops on Tuesdays. Will come here again! They should work on storefront or signage -- I've been to the restaurant next door so many times, and never really noticed this ice cream shop.”

“Very nice lady at the office. Entrance looks really nice. Wifi works well at the office, not in the park. There is tent camping possible. I saw three tents on a nice piece of grass under some trees. Toilets and showers are dated, but clean. We stayed one night in our RV with full hookup for about 60 dollars. There is no pool or playground. I would guess that 75% of the spots are rented long-term.”

My also chickens love it! their poultry bedding has a deodorizer in it which makes it last a little longer in my chicken coop.
