“Decent housing, nice quality furniture and layout in comparison to other locations. Prices are quite expensive from what my friends have told me but honestly this place provides a lot: trash compactor, printing lab, pool, grills, personal gym, dance room, laundromat, study and conference rooms, convenience store and market, meal plan option (no other housing facility offers this), parking, easy access to the freeway via Watkins, Glen Mor Fields for open Rec Fridays 5-8pm, close access to campus, and a lot of other bits and pieces not listed. If you have the money to live here or get FAFSA incentives like myself, I highly recommend living here. Everything you'll ever need will be here.”

“The Palms to Pines hike from Palm Springs to the top of the tram is one of the most strenuous dayhikes anywhere, taking you up 8,000 feet over 12 miles. Mike and Dan are superb personal trainers who talked me up it in 7 1/2 hours. Stretches and electrolytes prevented cramps, so it was painless. What views! What a sense of accomplishment!”

“I love the Warm Kale Salad here it's one of my favorites. Also, the soups are always delicious. Especially on a chilly day. Today I had the cilantro chicken soup ???? so yummy!! My girls had pizza. One vegan cheese and one regular cheese with tomato and spinach mmmmmm! So good! We are always happy girls when we leave Goodwin's Organic Food and Drinks! ????????????”

“A nice atmosphere and mix of people, not just students.They seek to include you and there really is a feeling of this being a community effort.I like the later mass time for daily mass - 530pm and the last mass on Sunday - 7pm. My wife and I have an adult son who is developmentally disabled and they were good with him, friendly without being fawning or babying him. The library is a nice feature and lends toward the academic vibe of a Newman center. They also have social functions that have a higher participation level than average. The priests seemed nice and were accessible. The priests were kind and helpful when I came to them with a problem even though I was a new member and am well past college age..”
