“Room I stayed in had a wonderful view of the lake and awesome dock access that is only for guests. The manager was great, we were greeted as soon as we arrived at the property and taken right up to our room and felt very welcome. The restaurant that was attached was not open at the time we were here. We also had a very quiet stay. We really felt like we had the place to ourselves. Overall great experience and would love to come back in the future!”

“Waking up early in the beautiful Sierra is always a pleasure! And knowing a cute mom and pops Cafe is nearby had me excited! Me and one other friend (who visited this place by himself the day before...jerk!) Decided to catch some sun and get our Joe going! Walking in we were immediately greeted with friendly faces! They handed us a menu and I was torn between so many options! I was hungry but I didn't want to eat to much. On a side note I ordered a Latte to get things started! Boy, I don't know, I had a rough and fun night prior playing the most vicious game of Monopoly until 3 in the morning so maybe that's why this Latte smacked so hard! This Latte rejuvenated me, like every sip brought me to life! I decided to go a healthier route with food finally, not because I care about healthy but because I actually like most healthy foods naturally so I ordered a Acai Bowel. It was just the right amount of everything I needed, the bananas were freshly cut, the oats were crunchy and the yogurt wasn't too thick. Infact, my only draw was the yogurt eventually monopolized the whole thing... see how I brought that full circle?! But that's my fault since I walked back to our cabin to eat it instead of lounging about. One cool lil fact I feel needs to be mentioned is this program they got going... so they have a recycling thing where if you bring your own cup you can refill on house brew coffee for a dollar! Thats a pretty rad return folks! I loved it... I didn't take advantage of it but I will when I come back!”

“This is a nice little park in the North Tahoe area. I’ve been here a few times and only in the snow. It’s $5 to park and bring your own gear. I took my daughter and her friends up to play and get some sledding in and I did a little snowshoeing to test out the new bindings (ok so I took a few runs down the hill too). The bathrooms were clean and there was soap in the dispenser.”

“Took this trail to Picnic Rock. 1 1/2 miles one way. There is a fork 1 1/4 miles in. Turn left to go to Picnic Rick, straight for Griff trail. A sign is there to point the way. It is an easy path, but does ascend continuously the entire way. Nothing technical, but unless you hike at altitude regularly, it will give you a mild cardio workout. View is worth the effort. Stopping numerous times to take pics, it took about 50 minutes to the top.”

“We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. We stayed in the forest side cabin. The only downfall to that. When you are on the beach, there are no restroom so it’s a long walk back across a busy street. No trash cans, and very limited chairs close to the water line but a lot of chairs and umbrellas up in the beach further up. On the forest side, it was peaceful and quiet BUT we noticed the workers live in some of the cabins too, so they are not as nice and neat on the outside and a few junk piles around. That side of the property could be a little nicer. Our cabin area was great, lots of Cobb webs in the room, ceiling, corner and some spiders which I just cleaned with a broom. Wonderful customer service was wonderful, easy to communicate and very accommodating. The young kids working the water equipment work extremely hard and are super helpful.”

“I had the sirloin and my wife had the prime rib. They were prepared perfectly. We started with the delicious cocktail shrimp appetizer, and finished with Strawberry cheesecake! “We had a pipe break and were out of town. NPUD recognized the "excessive water use" and shut off our service. We returned and called on Saturday at 5pm to have our service restored after fixing the problem. Jason shower up 45 minutes after our call and restored service. GREAT customer service!!!! “My daughter, granddaughter and I had an amazing stay at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites on the second floor with a balcony facing the lake. Immediately upon entering the suite and seeing how beautiful the rooms were and the amazing view of Lake Tahoe from the living room/dinning room, we walked back to the front office to extend our stay from 1 night to 2 nights. We took advantage of the kitchen and cooked both breakfast and dinner two days. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. We also enjoyed using the fireplace each night as we were not used to the cold nights. The women at the front desk was very helpful in extending our stay upon our request and also helped to give us suggestions of paved walks that we could take the baby in a stroller. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in Tahoe Vista!”

“Really needs a lot of tender loving care. This resort can be SO MUCH BETTER. The location is golden, the beach space is the only one of it's kind in this area, the views are breathtaking but the rooms leave very little to get excited about . Resort could easily be 5 stars if their rooms were very much updated and improved. There have very sterilize feel and look to them. Rooms are functional. The location is everything which is why I keep coming back year after year. Seeing that you're in the mountains a deep soak spa tub would be HEAVEN after a full day of being outdoors especially during the winter months when the hot tub and sauna are closed for the season. The NEW STAFF IS GREAT!! SO RELIEVED THEY GOT RID OF THOSE OLD, GRUMPY FOLKS who used to manage it before. Some SERIOUS financial investigations should take place to see WHERE all the owner's maintenance fees were going because it SURE AS HELL WASN'T TO THE RESORT. YAY FOR CHANGE, HOPE IS ON THE HORIZON !”
