“Very happy with our rental. Brad was so helpful in answering all my questions over the phone prior to booking and Ian was great in going over the boat particulars and getting us set up on the water. We booked the 21’ Chaparral (3 passengers) for 4 hours and it was the perfect amount of time to cruise down to Emerald Bay and then do some tubing on the way back. We anchored right off Fannette island, then swam over and explored the island. Super fun morning!”

“What a nice surprise this was. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor seat3may not be obvious. That's part of the charm however if you do end up eating outside. It's a nice, open space enclosured by foliage. Food was good, and the service was on point. Check the menu and you should be pleased by the restaurant's interpretation of the dish. They do seem to have a time limit on the tile, but it wasn't an issue for me.”

“Called late in the afternoon and left a message asking to reserve a jet ski for the next afternoon. Melissa called back early next morning telling to tell me they had a high availability. She was very friendly. My wife and I showed up a little earlier than expected and were met by Melissa who greeted us by name. Very fast sign up process, and we were in the water within minutes. I didn't catch the other workers' names, but they were all very friendly and helpful. An absolutely amazing experience, with the best crew, for a reasonable price. 10 out 10 will come back for more.”

“We were stunned by this place. The entire area is beautiful, well kept, and truly a remarkable place to be. We spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here in cottage 2 and fell in love with the place. The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful during the entire process and even through the concerns of the Mosquito fire that was on going. I am very glad I found cedar crest cottages, it will be a regular place for us now. The cottage was stunningly beautiful and clean. Amenities were well thought of and they provided coffee upon our arrival (bag of ground coffee). Definitely some of the best coffee I have ever had. I feel like I could write pages about this place on how amazing it was. It gets 10 stars out of 5.”

“I had Dennis Schlumpf and Associates, remodel our Tahoe house. I hired Dennis for my Tahoe remodel a couple of years a ago. He showed us a few issues as he examined our house and then offered solutions. He had an architect draw up plans for our entry which was to be remodeled. Dennis gave us a very detailed, itemized contract which allowed me to see exactly what was going to be worked on. As the work was accomplished, he would send me a bill. He used only his very trusted and quality sub-contractors, each of whom did wonderful work. I was not there because I live a few hours away from Tahoe, however I visited as much as I could during the remodeling. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our home exterior and interior and feeling assured that everything was completed as if it were his own home. Dennis has proven himself to be a real perfectionist! Plus, he is a trusted professional, a consummate gentleman, and very enjoyable and fun with whom to work. I cannot speak more highly of him.”

“Cozy and spacious room. We stayed here for a wedding that was walking distance and found it very comfortable with a good sized bathroom for getting ready. The bed was great and better than most hotels. If you're in town for an event or wanna be close to the water, this is a great spot to have easy access to all you'll need.”

“This review is more for Lou - ski instructor! Homewood itself is also very very beautiful -- I was there end of season when a lot of the slopes were closed -- I'd like to go back earlier to take in full majesty overlooking Lake Tahoe. Lou is amazing! I feel like I got 10 lessons in one I learned SO SO much. His calm demeanor made me feel assured when we moved to (at my request) more advances slopes. I cannot recommend him and his style enough - thank you so much! Can't wait to come back.”

“Roxie and Bob are amazing realtors, neighbors, and human beings. We have been fortunate enough to own a vacation home in Dollar Point and live near them. They have supported us whenever we have needed it. They are always willing to bend over backwards to help us out. We cannot count the times they have lent an extra hand or pair of eyes to help. Bob has plowed our driveway, given us firewood, helped with repairs and even saved our son from a bear scare! Roxie has given us support through advice on interior design, renting our home, as well as numerous referrals in the Tahoe area for upgrades and upkeep of our home. They are both very knowledgeable of the entire Tahoe area since they grew up in the here. This winter we had a roof leak and they stepped up with keeping an eye out since we weren’t able to be there full time. I can not say enough kind things to describe this amazing duo.
