“I have a heart monitor on for five days that I can't take off and can't get wet, and I realized very suddenly that I wouldn't be able to make it until Wednesday without washing my hair, and there's no way for me to do the acrobatics necessary to not get the heart monitor wet, not with my accidentally-sit-on-it-sometimes long hair. She fit me in very last minute for a hair wash and she was a lifesaver! She is a very pleasant person and the service was so relaxing (a welcome surprise after the last week I've had), and I can't remember the last time my hair felt this soft and clean without feeling heavy even with my usual care products. 10/10 would recommend and will return ”

And equally importantly, she gave me her very honest and professional opinion during the consultation so I knew exactly what to expect!. I have naturally very dark hair and an initial balayage session would it only give it a much more subtle tone than the light colors I saw in the inspiration pictures I found. I loved my hair so much after she worked her hair magic. Just went back for my retouch (around 4 months after my first session) and she knocked the ball out of the park again! “I moved to California less than two years ago, after having Ashley Sanders, my niece, as my hairdresser since 2010. (Fort Collins, Colorado—shamelsss plug for her. Lol. She’s a color goddess.) You know how hard it is to find a new stylist! My first experience at a *different* salon was a disaster. By the second visit, the bleach (she put me under heat!) broke my hair off at the crown. I sat in the chair and cried. I found Liz and 1 1/2 years later, the broken-off piece has grown out. More than that, I have color that gets compliments almost every time I go out, even when it’s close to appointment time. (The salon itself has a good vibe, too.)”

“Fawn Hair Studio is my go to spot. I've been getting haircuts from James for years now and he's the only barber that I swear by. After years of switching barbershops and being a walk in customer to many barbershops I finally found a barber who knows what hairstyles will look good on me. James doesn't just ask you what number you want on the sides. He understands hairstyles and how they will look on you based on your style and head shape. He can even tell you when you got your last haircut just by looking at your hair! James is the most precise barber I have ever met. He doesn't miss, his fades are perfect and his scissor work is simply impressive. His passion is really reflected in his cuts. Jack is the other barber/hair stylist at Fawn Hair Studio. He also does women's cuts. Although I haven't personally gotten a haircut from Jack, I can tell that his work reflects the same passion and high standard as James' work. Fawn Hair Studio's hair stylists are all of high caliber and only offer the best cuts. If you want to get a haircut here you'll most likely need to set up an appointment because they are generally booked. However they have a Walk In Wednesday if you're looking to give them a try!”
