Fantasia Gardens

Address: Fantasyland, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA

Park

“Great place to relax and have your lunch from Edelweiss Snacks. Picnic tables and chairs are available. Was the old Motorboat attraction dock. Views of the water and the passing Monorail.”

Peralta Canyon Park

Address: 115 N Pinney Dr, Anaheim, CA 92807, USA

Park

“Beautiful, peaceful park with lots of handicapped-accessible parking spaces and walkways. The park includes a basketball court, baseball diamond, large fields for flying kites, and big shady trees for picnics. The barbecue and table area is very nice as well, (although it is roped off/unaccessible temporarily due to the pandemic). Parking is close to the tables so it's easy to unload for parties, picnics, etc. The park also includes a public restroom and a children's playground area. Lots of dog-walkers are there in the evening, which is nice - although a lot of them are off leash, which can be frustrating. The park is located between an elementary school and a beautiful, safe, little neighborhood. All in all, it's a great place to visit.”

Sycamore Park

Address: 8268 E Monte Vista Rd, Anaheim, CA 92807, USA

“This gorgeous park is in Anaheim, CA., not too big, not too small. There are baseball field, basketball court, beach valleyball court (no net), benches, picnic tables, clean restroom and kids playground. There is a short hiking trail up the on the South side with great view. Parking spaces are inside the park and on street.”

Yorba Regional Park

Address: 7600 E La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92807, USA

Park

“Came here for a walk with my dog. We parked outside of the park, so the parking is free. There are paid Parkin available inside the park. There are ponds/lakes. I saw people fishing here. Paddle boats are available, but I don't know how much it costs. There are plenty of playgrounds, volleyball fields, and baseball fields throughout the park. This is very beautiful park, and very clean. There are free plastic poo bags available everywhere in the trail if you forgot to bring yours. Will come back again.”

Modjeska Park

Address: 1331 S Nutwood St, Anaheim, CA 92804, USA

“Good sized park. Well maintained grass fields. Clean. Lots of squirrel who are not afraid of people. Great place for dog walking when it's not too hot. There are some shades but not enough.”

Walnut Grove Park

Address: 905 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805, USA

Park

“Cleaner than last time, no trash in the ground all the trash bins were empty, no one was camping like last time, so a lot safer without the intoxicated people, I noticed a couple of people playing 3 on 3 on the basket ball court , and also when I was leaving the park ranger truck was pulling in, that indicates that they are making their rounds....👏👏👏👏👏👏👏”

Santa Ana River Trail - Mile Marker 21

Address: Anaheim, CA 92807, USA

Park

“This SART mile marker has Yorba Linda BLVD/Weir Canyon to its east and Imperial Highway to its west. It is close to Big Spring on its north and the Santa Ana Riverbed to the south.”

Citrus Park

Address: 104 S Atchison St, Anaheim, CA 92805, USA

Park

“This is a great little park for toddlers, preschoolers, and maybe up to about 7 for the play equipment. It only has the toddler swings though, but the rest would be fun for younger kids. It's hard to find a safe place for the little kids because most parks are designed for older kids. This is the perfect one just for those little ones! There are 2 basketball half courts for older kids and adults. Plenty of tables in the shade by the play equipment for a birthday party or lunch at the park. There is also a small parking lot to park in. The hours are 5am to 1030pm. They have park lights, but I'm not sure how well it would light up the park after dark.”

Wings of the World Aviary

Address: Escondido, CA 92027, USA

Park Lodging

“Stayed for 3 nights, great location to the parks! About 10 min walk to the entrance of either park. Though there were some concerns from other reviews about some of the homeless near the 7-11, I never once felt uneasy walking past there as the corner is fairly well lit and it's a busy street, so honestly no worries about the crowd if you're simply walking by. I would recommend staying here for families on a bit of a budget. We had a "Standard" room, 2 double beds. The room was fairly clean, although you can tell the age of the place as it does look rather dated and dull vs more modern spots. But honestly, you're there to sleep comfortably after a day at the parks not admire your hotel room every time you enter it right? The bathroom was clean and showers/tubs were good. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast offered each morning, they had enough to fill up most appetites (omelettes, muffins, cereal, waffles, and the usual coffee/juice/milk offerings). They close at 10am sharp, so make sure you're there before to get something before heading to the parks. Bottom line, good place to stay for the price and location! Would not have any issues staying here again.”

Pelanconi Park

Address: Anaheim, CA 92807, USA

Park

“I've been taking my dog(s) to parks for over 7 years this park is in my top 10, just unbelievable beauty, especially now with Spring turning the hills green. There is so much bird wildlife I just sit back and try and mimic the sounds the variety of species there make, everything is alive there and if you want a peaceful, tranquil place to collect your thoughts it's definitely a great choice. Taken some great pics of my dogs just loving life and blessed to have parks like this in my neighborhood.”

“Very nice park. Has a cool kids play area, some exercise/workout stations, and a resource facility where they conduct indoor events. It looks well kept for the most part. Only bad thing I would complain about is the public parking. There is barely any. Not even street parking! Thats kinda weird (to me). But I'll still give it 5 stars.”

Stoddard Park

Address: 1901 9th St, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA

Park

“This is an excellent park to get a good workout in, it's pretty clean and has pretty good lighting. However, I would not go past ten as there are a lot of people that go there at night around 11 up to no good. Up to 9pm is still very safe though so I'll go 5/5 stars but just leave by ten to avoid issues.”
