(December 10, 2021, 1:42 pm)The ticket booth was broken. Had to drive around to find a ranger and asked how to pay. There were no people so nice and quiet. Some areas are still closed.
(February 14, 2020, 12:32 am)Killer trails for running. Did the 10k off trail race and loved it! Very nice view and lots of space. Parking is 5 bucks and you can pay with a card which is very convenient. Middle of nowhere so brings plenty of water and snacks.

(September 9, 2018, 7:40 pm)The lake itself was not to impressive. Water was low. It gets 5 stars because in 25 years of camping and outoorsmanship I have never. Ever. Seen bathrooms this clean at a lake/camp site. Every one I entered (3 total) were in perdect condition. Spotless, no graffiti and no terrible smell usually encountered at such places. I'm writing from one rihht now. Bathrooms 10/10.
Can shoot out here in certain areas as well.
