“Due to COVID-19, all our classes are on line through Zoom. It is great, you can take classes wherever you are. All you need is a laptop, desktop, iPad or a phone. Our center offers many kinds of class, Tai Chi, Yoga, meditation, stretching and vibration class which also includes free form dancing. Our center staff, Master John who is the center manager and Panida who is the assistant center manager. They are great at teaching and they also make the classes enjoyable. And they are super nice!! Because of COVID-19, the center is trying to help by doing lots of promotions. So more people can try the classes!”

“Update: My son is now entering 3rd grade in Manhattan Beach, and excelling. The skills he learned at Rolling Hills Montessori put him far ahead of the curriculum that the public school was using, and allowed him to focus on socializing. I think that the foundation that Rolling Hills Montessori gave him has made his K, 1st, and 2nd experience wonderful and enriching, rather than a catch up in academics that I see some other students going through. I still give Rolling Hills Montessori 5 stars. -------------------- My son has been at this school for two months, and my experience with the teachers and the school has been great. Everyone is very friendly, well spoken, and care about all the children. The location is beautiful with a very large grass field with plenty of shade. This is a school not a day care with some education, and it really feels like there is a clear trajectory for the academics. If you are on the search for the right preschool, this one really should be on the list for a serious visit. Update: We have now been at Rolling Hills Montessori for 2 1/2 years. I really think that it is an excellent school. The setting is a large slightly sloping grass area, with lots of play equipment, and is very picturesque. The director has filled the rooms with the best Montessori materials that I have seen. There is a deli called Kelly's Korner around the block that will deliver lunch to your child at the school, this has helped a number of times. The only things that have been a little difficult is that they follow the local elementary school schedule, including minimum days. For a two working parent household, the scheduling can be tricky. On the other hand their child care rates a very reasonable (child care is not available on minimum days or the breaks).”

I started before a hip replacement and continued after, as it does not put stress on the joints. The instructor Trey Mason is energetic and professional.”

“On the Back to School Family Night on Sept. 8, Mrs. S let us know much more about herself, her family, and her prominent professional credentials, as well as how she will be interacting closely with students and coordinating with parents effectively --- She will meet with each student individually twice a month, to discuss about their academic progress, especially on writing skills. Except cursive, math, etc., this school year, children will do many oral and written reports and lots and lots of other writings. How valuable and vital is that! --- Even I as a parent want to learn! --- She is not only an intelligent and diligent teacher, but also a very exquisite person! All these information was presented by her in a pleasant atmosphere with all other parents. I absolutely believe that children will be more confident about themselves in all areas and fully prepared to enter the next grade after graduating from her class. Not a single traffic problem for me --- Always a drive-and-walk-to-school person, I can never get slowed down in the middle of the dropping-off and picking-up line-up of cars at the entrance of any school. For here, I simply park my car at the nearby residence area or even a farther park, then I walk my kid for 3 - 5 minutes to school, enjoying together the tranquil morning sun and peaceful happy moments five days a week, including special event late afternoon.”
