Normally, a police helicopter is circling at some point during your visit, loud music is blaring, colorful language is being sworn & the skaters are getting high. “I love this park. I do like that there is a double gate to get in, it helps settle my dogs and also prevent them from rushing other dogs (they are the park greeters). It’s large, which is great. I appreciate the shade and plenty of places to sit while my dogs run around. It’s always clean too! My dogs love it here!”

“The Huntington Garden is a gorgeous escape from the city. You could spend an entire day here, and still not see the entire grounds. The Rose Garden is stunning. The succulent section is truly spectacular. But my favorite are the Asian gardens. A perfect way to spend a day. A Los Angeles Treasure. So... worth the visit! Plenty of gardens to walk through including. Tea garden, Japanese and Chinese garden, rose garden (favorite), herb garden, and desert garden etc. Bring really good walking shoes and a hat! I saw many people just reading or doing yoga on the lawn because it’s the most peaceful place ever! Also, not too crowded because they have a max capacity.”

“This park is right next to and under the Colorado Street Bridge. It’s a beautiful little tucked away small neighborhood park. Finding it is a bit tricky, but it’s truly a gem in Pasadena. There is parking on site, and it’s free. (At leafs when I was there) There is a small kids playground / area, along with a few picnic tables. Please be mindful this park is right in the middle of a small neighborhood. So please be courteous and respectful. Just as you’d want if someone was visiting your little treasure.”
