“***I had the BEST TIME at the tire shop!*** Aside from the click-baity headline, manager Marco and awesome CSR Tito made my DAY! Tito greeted me first at the front desk with his friendly nature and chilled demeanor. Buying a whole set of tires is not easy for everyone, I mean the cost is a lot, but TITO! He came THROUGH! He assessed the type of terrain I’d be roughin on my daily and he gave me the top option. I appreciate his work ethic being excellent, then I have him the price range I was hoping and he gave me the best for what I needed. Yeah, the wait can be long, but they keep the lobby so clean and chill. It was climbing to 101 outside and it felt 66 in the lobby. Manager Marco and Tito are so friendly, they keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed. Tito also let me know my brakes needed changing soon. Tito also let me know that I should get my tires rotated within six month and with the lifetime warranty, it’s FREE! Ooops! Sorry if I wasn’t supposed to put you on blast, Tito! Anyway, if you gotta get tires or got anything going on with your vehicle that needs checking, this is where it’s at. Keep yourself from a sour mood and go to Marco and Tito. (I’m gonna copy this over to Yelp because the world needs to know!)”

“The Brunch burrito and breakfast sandwich on their home made biscuit were both HUGE and super delicious. Potatoes were phenomenal and super cheap for the amount of potatoes you get. I loved the art and chill atmosphere. They have an awesome book wall as well. Their plates are restaunant quality dishes- so they really mean it when they said they "hand craft each plate and cook to order." Will definitely return!!”

“I took a lesson here many years ago but had to leave due to a relocation. My schedule has changed since then, allowing me to look for martial arts instruction once more (specifically Karate). Surprisingly, the fees and organizational structure of this school haven't changed in the more than ten years since I first inquired about it. I have prior Karate experience and can distinguish between top-notch and questionable schools based on their lineage and training protocol, and Lakewood Budo Kai is unquestionably a top-notch school. This is not a belt factory, and they are genuinely interested in teaching the arts in their purest form, rather than for financial gain. Russell sensei is the current head instructor, and when I spoke with him recently, he was very nice and knowledgeable about the classes. I've spoken with other Karate schools that charge three times as much for half as many lessons and hours, which made me reconsider attending and lead me to consider other options. Lakewood Budo Kai is a rare find if you live near Long Beach and are looking for reputable martial arts instruction. I strongly advise you to contact them.”

“I have 2 children, ages 7 and 5 and we have been at Marina Montessori for three years. I cannot say enough great things about this school. The teachers have all been caring, compassionate and creative in their teaching. I am very happy with their curriculum and the teachers have always spent time with my kids making sure they are learning and not following behind when certain concepts have been difficult for them to grasp. Everyone is very personable and you can tell they know each and every student personally. My son was very nervous about starting school and they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at ease. As a mom, it is so reassuring to drop your kids off at a school they love. I drop them off and pick them up happy and they can’t wait to tell me all the fun things they did at school. They love their teachers and their school!”

“Very spacious, lots of things to do here. 3 Pokestops and 1 gym, perfect for Pokemon Go. Only complaint is the lack of spacial awareness and handling of dogs by their frequenting owners. Had one older lady march herself and her dog right up to where I was way off any path, at the fence on the sidelines of the park. Never even apologized or said a word.”

“Great little breakfast spot! My husband and I have eaten here a few times now in the dog-friendly patio. It's smallish inside, but there are a lot of tables out back with plenty of heat for chilly mornings. They always bring out a little bowl of water for our pup and they keep the mimosas flowing on Saturdays. It's literally my new favorite breakfast spot. We had Silvia as a server this morning and she was the absolute best! She handled her huge section gracefully and attentatively. There was an upset customer at a table nearby us and Silvia diffused the situation in no time. Great food, great drink specials, and great people. We'll be back every Saturday forever.”
