“We always pass by this lake going to the bay area. This time, after coming from Yosemite, we decided to exit here out of curiosity. Water level is great after all that rain. I was hoping that we can rent jet skis but those are not included on the rental options. We rented a boat instead. Fee depends on the size and hours of use. What we got is $40 per hour and $200 for whole day. Must return boat before 6PM. You can bring your own jet ski or boat. You can fish too. Dogs are allowed on the boat as well. And yeah the sheriff power trips here. I didn't hear him shouting at me till he turned the siren on and used his megaphone. Can't hear him because of the noisy motor. I enjoyed our time here. Probably enjoyed this better than Yosemite.”

“Hunniiiiii Chile scary experience, just keep ur eyes on the road. It's a small opening on the side of the road. It goes off the main road onto dirt track. Gonna be dusty so don't bother wash your car before because it's bound to get dirty. Tons of fun riding ATVs out n about freely with "Enjoy the mountains adventures"”

“The campgrounds are clean. We did RV camping. It was not full service. They had water to fill up and dump station. It was $20.00 per night. We took our two dogs, they must be on leashes. We had a great experience for our first time. We enjoy the fact you can camp RV and tents on the same area. They have drive through camping sites for boats also. There is an additional fee of $11.00 for parking at the Lake for the day.”

“A great day trip location. Day use for visitors, boaters or picnics, this is a great nature getaway. Lots of boaters go here. Bring your own for rent a boat there. Bring your own provision and spend the day on the water, fishing or enjoying the amazing mountain and lake views. There are fees so bring cash. It is also wise to get there early if you plan on a weekend excursion, especially in the spring and fall seasons.”
