“Well this review is way overdue!!! The atmosphere here is amazing its clean , crisp , bright and inviting , I am not a fan of commercial gyms and love we have a locally owned business here. Kourtney and her husband sorry I forgot his name, are amazing people they are not shy to go around and greet people or have a quick conversation. The gym is the perfect size with various equipment some I’ve never seen at other gyms. 99% of the equipment is new and most of the gym goers will clean off equipment after using. The major perk here for any family is the kids center they have I didn’t get a chance to capture a picture due to children being present. My wife and I have been working out here for over a year and just love it . I also love the support for our Troops and Law Enforcement its huge for someone like me who served. So if you are looking at gyms in town just stop looking and Join the Tehachapi Strength Family because honestly thats what it feels like when you walk in the doors !!!!”

“Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Each instructor offers a unique take on yoga. The pricing structure is very reasonable. I have not experienced any pushy sales tactics or similar phenomenon. There's a broad range of fitness levels and personality types in any given class. As someone who is not particularly athletic or coordinated, I've never felt out of place. There's no reason to be intimidated. Sign-up and payment are very simple via the website. No app or account required. Your first class is free. I've never seen anyone turned down for dropping in without signing up beforehand. Yoga mats, blocks, and straps are all available to use of you don't own any. The studio hosts events regularly (winery outings; holiday get-togethers). I had a wonderful time at the one I attended despite being the polar opposite of a social butterfly. I'm very grateful Danielle opened up a studio in Tehachapi and will continue to attend classes regularly. If you're at all curious about yoga I would highly recommend showing up to any class. Come alone or bring some friends. You'll have a good time.”

“For the most part, coming to this gym is awesome. They have a ton of equipment, there's a lot of room, staff is always friends, bathrooms are clean and available. The only reason I don't give a full 5 stars is that it often gets very packed. They don't seem to regulate the capacity most of the time, and there are even times when you question if it's even violating fire code. You can't move, equipment is all taken, there are hardly any dumbells available, people just talking and standing around. It could get bad. This is usually during the later part of the day into the evening, so getting there anytime between 9 and 4, it's pretty much a private club.”

“The electricity was out when I arrived here due to California's mismanagement of the power grid. But the concierge did everything to accommodate Me by even giving me some candles to help keep my room lit. He was very nice and actually sounded like he was expecting my arrival as well as my co-workers arrival. The power came on just a mere 45 minutes after I checked in and was able to cool the room down and sleep well. The next morning the concierge was also a very gracious person and was able to answer any of my questions. This is also a place where you would see people traveling from point A to point B or working in the area. Many people were using the pool which is also a nice feature. I really like the Best Western franchise because it is an in-between the luxury and budget hotel.”

“I have been a member over five years at this gym and love it. The location is fantastic and handy to my neighborhood. The variety of machines and cardio offered is fantastic. All ages are welcomed and there is a variety of fitness levels present. The staff is always friendly, professional, and willing to help with any issues or questions. In my 5+ years I’ve seen many of the staff come and go but one sticks out in my mind in particular. Jared has been there faithfully as an outstanding, knowledgeable employee. He, as a hard worker, is always there with a friendly greeting and a helpful hand. I appreciate when owners hire well and it reflects great on their establishment. I would highly recommend Body Xchange on Olive Dr for a great gym experience.”

“My daughter and I are about 10 days into our 21 day trial for $40.00. My daughter has taken a lot more classes than I have. I've only taken 3, so far. I wasn't sure about the heat and I'm still not sure exactly how I feel about it. I do love the classes and instructors. They have been great at explaining moves and poses, which makes it easier for a beginning like me. My daughter loves everything about the hot yoga. Class schedules have been good, but a few classes do book up quickly, so if you aren't a planner this would be an issue. Otherwise, I recommend trying out Warrior One Yoga.”
