Shafter Recreation & Park District

Another childhood memory in that complex. Used to play baseball, soccer, flag football there, plus my friends and I would go play backyard rule football as well. I noticed several discus rings there now so those are new. Now and then when pass through Shafter, I like to visit my old stomping grounds sort of speak. (Usually on my motorcycle)

I always injoy being outside and to be able to spend time with my grandchildren is priceless but to watch them playing baseball on and having fun on a nicely keep field there's nothing like it

You can sign up your youths for a lot of different sports. It depends what time of the year the sport that the kids play.

The coaches are sweet and down to earth. My niece enjoys playing soccer here.
