“When our van's starter broke on a road trip a few miles out of Boron, Santiago saved us. We had our van towed late at night to Romo Auto Repair, and weren't sure if they would be able to help us. The next morning, I explained the problem and that we had a small baby with us and were trying to make an event that evening in Joshua Tree. Santiago was committed to helping us get running and out of Boron that day. He drove over 3 hours that day to find the part we need, and fixed it just in time for us to get to our event. He charged us a reasonable price (given that we were desperate, he didn't try to charge us an unreasonable amount). We were so thankful! He also gave me a ride around town so I didn't have to walk back to my family. Only suggestion is that it's hard to get on the phone with Santiago and crew -- usually when I called, I got a voicemail.”

“Was passing through and came on their Taco Tuesday and got their $0.99 hard tacos. Normally, I don't like hard tacos and was disappointed to see the soft street tacos weren't included in the Taco Tuesday promo. However, these were some of the best hard tacos I've ever had. I think they freshly fry them, and they were so much better than the pre-packaged ones I'm used to. They also give a choice of fillings, I liked the pork and chicken a lot, especially the pork. The asada beef filling seemed a lot more like the miscellaneous ground beef you normally get in hard tacos I don't like much. They also have Taco Wednesdays for their street tacos I saw on a sign.”
