“Ate at around 7:30, and it was absolutely delightful! I had the honey-roasted duck with the jasmine tea. The duck was cooked to a perfect crisp, and the tea was the perfect accent to it. I had sticky rice with mango, which was the perfect taste to end the meal on. It has a great atmosphere and the staff was incredibly friendly, even taking notice when a dish still had food on it, and taking the time to ask for feedback!”

“I would like to thank Mercy with Bank of the Sierra for going over and above her job requirements to make things happen for me. I had a got a cashier's check from my personal account from Bank of the Sierra and they had shown that the cashier's check had cleared on the 10th of September. I had deposited the cashiers check into my personal account at Bank of America and as of 09/15 Bank of America wouldn't clear the cashier's check for me. Mercy got on a conference call with myself and Bank of America to get the funds released. This has now allowed me to wire some funds that were required to complete by 09/15. This wouldn't have happened without her......She is amazing, and I am so grateful for her kindness, and Bank of the Sierra should feel blessed to have an amazing employee working for them.”

“It's not a big library, but I was there for the Friends of the Kern County Library book sale. The book sale was in the corner with prices ranging $0.50-$3.00. The clerks in the book check-out counter are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time in this library. I wish Bakersfield had more libraries like this!”

They got me a tire that was as close to what my original order was and got it to me in 2 days. Only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was I had to call to find out why my order that I had placed days before didn’t ship yet. Again they sorted that out right away and got me a great tire! 100% recommend for tire needs. “We’ve taken our dog here for almost 14 years. After fighting and fighting, we had to make the horrible decision to put him down. This was especially hard for us, but the staff was supportive and kind through it all. Our Dr., Dr. Jacquie was the absolute best. She did all she could and helped us through every step.
