“Very nice little store. They have all the stuff you can need and can find in other stores in bigger cities but they also have something most stores don't have: true kindness. The owner lady and her husband are so kind. On Christmas day, even your Grinch costume could not hide how nice and warm of a person you are. When i came back two hours after because our rental car had an issue, you and your husband did all you could to help us, and with a smile! We are now at our next destination and that's my way to tell you that we made it and thank you so much for the help. Good on you to spread some of that Christmas magic around. ”

“Great little museum. Lots of interesting local history for everyone in the family. Perfect place to come on rainy day when spending the weekend in shaver. Several picnic tables around outside too. Check out the big granite boulders out back near the amphitheater. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Stayed in the Sierra House/apartment. Space was perfect for family of 5. Very clean, full stocked kitchen, lots of hot water, awesome leather set in the living room, full dining room table, good wifi. Master has queen, second room has daybed w/ trundle & separate full w/ attached bath. Plenty of storage and blankets and linens. Stairs are a bit steep, would NOT recommend for small children. Full washer/dryer. The place could definitely use new mattresses on all beds, worn and could feel the springs, only reason for the four stars. Otherwise cute and quiet space. Would love to go back, but can't sleep on those beds tho.”

“I LOVE Shorthorn so much. It was such a welcome escape for the day when living down in Fresno. The staff are so friendly and I kid you not, they have the best BLT I’ve ever tasted. There is a good selection of beers too. Nothing beats sitting out back on a nice day with a few beers then popping inside for a game of pool. “Fantastic stay. We loved this adorable bed and breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the fireplace is such a lovely touch. It’s close to lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Joanne and Greg were the perfect hosts and their weekend cooked breakfast was delicious. The best French toast we have ever tasted. They were so helpful and loaned us a local hiking book and gave us lots of recommendations of things to do and places to see. Don’t miss this lovely bed and breakfast experience.”

“First of all...much better than the Seasons Bistro.. I’m up here working on the Creek Fire and I didn’t know this place even existed ‘til week 2 of work. It’s AMAZING! The food is so so good, but arguably better is the atmosphere and ambiance. Such a beautiful hidden gem. I’m sort of hesitant to even bring attention to this perfect place in hopes of not exposing it to keep its home town family friendly vibe. Our awesome waitress was Samantha and she is nothing short of a perfect and friendly person to enhance your already perfect dinner. Highly recommeded. 💙”

“Nice Boy Scouts camping place. With many Merit Badges to work in. Some examples are shotgun shooting, climbing, archery, and life saving. Though there are many more. It may seem like a dream but it isn’t because of these following reasons. The tents cabins are a little dirty and small and have bugs. The showers have dead cockroaches but that’s not that bad. Wear shoes in the showers. The food is ok. But it’s actually pretty fun and it’s cool. The staff are all very nice and the campsites are beautiful.”

“Looking for a fun, delicious place to stop and eat and drink. Pub N Grub is the place. We've been there several times and service was super with Ally and the newbie Mike. The blue burger is delicious, the grub burger with pastrami over the top. The onion rings were a hit! They also offer refreshing mixed cocktails to cool you off after a big day on the water. Thank you will definately come again. Wish you were open on Mondays.”
