“Most of my UHaul experiences involve small businesses trying to make some extra side cash (but not putting any effort or attention into being a topnotch rental yard) and/or employees that seem absolutely miserable. Renting from Windy Flat was the exact opposite of that experience in every way. The vehicles are super clean, and previous damage is actually noted meticulously so you don't have to wonder if you'll be charged for the tiny knick you see on your walkthrough. They have tons of space for their vehicles, so there's no weird issues with driving big trucks through shared parking lots or having the employee ask you to follow them in your car to a second lot to grab your truck (a real past experience btw). And most importantly, the people who run this location are absolutely incredible. We showed up when the office opened and, due to Uhaul's system error, were waiting for a bit before we could check out. Not only was this painless, it was borderline enjoyable, lol. The people helping us were kind, apologetic (despite this being no fault of their own), and just straight up pleasant. When we unexpectedly had to adjust our reservation later on, they helped us eagerly and competently, and even took a moment from absolutely crushing it at their jobs to check how we were doing personally. At this point I am gushing about van rental, so to wrap this up and reiterate: Windy Flat RV Center is a fantastic business of any kind. When compared to the average UHaul dealer, they are simply unparalleled. I would recommend anyone in the East Bay use this location, even if it means a few extra miles on your invoice. The two man team of Justin and Roland were America's Finest. They were extremely professional. Justin asked me if he could use the bathroom, he informed me that my wallet was on the sink. How's that for integrity. I advise the team that my dresser had preexisting damage from a previous move that I was going to glue once I got into my new home. It is true it is on the other side of the fence, but then you must find your way around the fence. Mike gave me the rates which were very reasonable , he also mentioned that they were the new owners of the Storage Facility since May 2019 and invited me to come by and check out the yard of his available spots , so I did . Mike and Bob were great . They showed me around and the available parking spots . The place was exceptionally clean so I took a spot for my trailer and I am very happy with the new owners and the facility . I recommend Delta Storage for anyone’s RV, Trailer or Boat . . What’s nice is they just installed a brand new automatic entry and exit gate system which is so convienant . All the best to the new owners and keep up the good work -”

Lee was great, easy to communicate with and she asked all the right questions about our move. Booking services was a smooth and easy process. On the day of the move the movers, Lawrence & Toby, arrived on time with a courteous & professional attitude. They guys were grade A professionals who made it look so easy even though I know it is hard work moving heavy boxes & furniture. “First off, I am not an affiliate or friend of Star City Motors. I am just like any other car buyer that searched far and wide for cars at officially licensed dealers, third party dealers, and private sellers. I'm the kind of guy that likes to check and research everything. A quick Google search won't pull up much about Star City Motors or Chris aside from some presence on Dodge Viper enthusiast forums and some reviews like the ones on Yelp. So I want to share my experience from the perspective of a buyer who was cautious. I saw some pictures for a Porsche Cayman 2014 that was in beautiful condition and had everything included such as the original sticker price with options, manuals, and keys. Everything was in like new condition and the price was just what I was happy with. I was originally looking at other Porsches in the Walnut Creek area, but since Star City Motors is close enough, I decided to call Chris to schedule a test drive. He got back to me within the same day and I ended up driving from San Jose to Walnut Creek/Concord the next day (a Sunday) to test drive all the cars I was considering in the Walnut Creek/Concord area. From the first moment we met, to the test drive, the Carfax documents, to any questions I had about the buying process, Chris was attentive and made the buying process easy. The car was already in beautiful condition when I saw it. I felt bad about driving the car since it was so new, so we agreed on a price that we were both happy with before I test drove the car. Unlike other dealers which told me to try and not put as many miles on the Porsche, Chris let me take the car out on highways and streets for an extended amount of time without any issues. After the test drive, I decided to purchase the Porsche Cayman from Star City Motors instead of test driving the other cars. I asked for a day to decide on the car. In the meanwhile, he had other prospective buyers look into the car as well but kept the car until I made my decision the next day. I was very wary because of reputations of car salesmen in the industry, however, looking back, I had nothing to fear with Chris. He made this process as easy as possible. He proposed different payment plans if one financial institution didn't work out or if rates were higher. He even handled all the paperwork at the DMV for me (i.e. temp registration, transfer, registration, etc.). Throughout all of this process, I messaged Chris constantly about any questions I had. I'm willing to bet that no other client in his history has messaged him more than me, but despite all of that, Chris always got back to me and tried to cater to every request I had. Again, looking back, I had nothing to fear and Chris took care of everything. All I had to do was just make the down payment, sign the paperwork, and take the car to drive off into the sunset while he handled everything else. All of these other reviews on Yelp saying how easy the process is, how much Chris bends over backwards to get the car into the buyer's hands, how quickly he replies, and more...they are all true. I'd recommend Chris to any prospective buyer. He's honest, never pushed any unnecessary extended warranty options onto me, and gave me different suggestions based on my payment plans and needs. I'll also put this out there, I've had some dealers not take me seriously because I drove an old car. However, he never looked down on me for that and trusted me the entire way. In fact, I'm sure he trusted me more than I trust him. Again, in hindsight, I had nothing to worry about and Chris did a fantastic job making me feel more comfortable about the whole process. If anyone is considering one of the cars on Star City Motors and is forward thinking enough to check reviews like I did, I hope this review will help them consider giving Star City Motors a chance. I don't think any car buying experience could've been simpler. Note: I am posting this review from Yelp in case people begin to use Google Reviews more.”

“Do not go to the Deer Valley location in Antioch, I didn’t even get to move in because I was given the wrong code and couldn’t get help because the office person left early. The following couple of days I rode around with my car full of boxes because I couldn’t get access and unfortunately no one was in office on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Thankfully, Utonia from the Sunset location in Antioch was able to help me. I was able to move in, no problem getting in the door or storage…. Everything went smoothly. It was a night and day experience! If you choose Public Storage, choose the Sunset location and Utonia will gladly help you! Awesome customer service!!!”
