“We spent almost an hour browsing but primarily speaking with the shop owner. We fell in love with the furniture she and her daughter refurbished but we were unable to take any home with us as we live 12 hours away drive time. But she took the time to share with us their process and allowed us to take photos of the pieces we liked so we can try to recreate them from our local finds. We picked up a few small nicknacks we could bring home with us, but the experience was incredible. This is the warmest and most welcoming antique store I've ever experience.”

“Spot 13 awesome experience. Tons of fun. Super hot but you have a lake right there that's the perfect temperature to go for a swim, go fishing or even hop on a boat and a ride. They have vault toilets they get pretty hot during the day. We had a picnic table, grill, fire pit with a grill and a canopy for the picnic table.”

“Driving thru. Up to Sonora, I looked up Asian restaurants near me & was recommended so on my list. It's a nostalgic Asian Buffet, with lots to choose from, so my pix would do no justice (+ I would have to plate it pretty & I'm at a Buffet) who does pretty plating when u go to such place? Friendly service, sushi 🍣 section to meats fried Rice and noodles. Lots of Appetizer & don't forget about the dessert bar! From Asian macrons to 8 you scoop ice-cream varieties. And of course won ton & egg drop soups, BUT The dessert 🍨 made the pic cut. Mmm...”

“A Welcoming Haven During a Crisis During a recent evacuation due to a fire, we were overwhelmed and struggling to find a place to stay. Thankfully, we found this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed. They even offered further assistance if necessary, making us feel truly cared for. The rates were approximately $50 less than other places we considered, and they did not charge for our small dog, whereas another place wanted $35 a day. They also accommodated our request for a ground floor room with easy access, which was incredibly helpful. The amenities were excellent, including a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, alarm clock, landline, and air-conditioned room. The room itself was quiet and clean, providing a much-needed respite from the chaos outside. Special mention to the housekeeper, Loretta, who checked on us every time we saw her, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Overall, this hotel is a great small-town nugget, centrally located for all your gold country adventures. Highly recommended!”
