“I cannot say enough wonderful things about McEachron glass. We ordered window replacements for the whole house, 17 windows and a slider. Josh was prompt in all his communications and arrived on time. He sent me examples to ease my worries about configurations we ordered. He was clear in his quote and we felt confident he was the guy to do the job. When his team came out to install they were friendly and got the job done on time. They cleaned up every little mess and were careful with our belongings! We are currently dealing with a handful of contractors for various home renovations and McEachron glass was a breath of fresh air. Excellent communication, good service and attention to detail! The caulking job is impeccably perfect, the widows are beautiful. I highly recommend them!”

“Really incredible wedding venue. Beautiful landscaping and lighting. Amazing old building. Really interesting restroom. Very friendly staff and bartender. Would absolutely recommend this place for a wedding. My only two complaints for how hard it is to find from the road and how uneven the pavement is when you're walking around the outdoor wedding venue. Seems like tripping hazards every two feet with uneven Stone. Absolutely not a problem in the scheme of things. Two beautiful and unique to let it bother you.”

“Ok being a transplant from EG, i recently had a discussion on where to finad a yummy bagel, a worthy bagel near me, in Ione...my sister in-law also a transplant here in Ione has been telling me about this Star donut place in Ione, just 5 min away...but I'm not a donut eater so I didn't check it out. Recently, I noticed the sign says bagels and croissants both of which i do love, so this morning after checking out a jazzercize class, I had my hubby stop and we went inside. He chose his usual everything bagel, I selected the cheddar bagel and we came home. He toasted them up, and made yummy breakfast sandwiches and as I took my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised how fluffy and soft yet toasty the bagel was, omg, I think I'm in bagel heaven 😋 the croissants also looked ahhhmazingly delish, fresh and fluffy and yes, although I don't really partake in the donut, they looked really fresh and just as yummilicious as well. I love living in Ione, best decision we ever made and discovering new places that are very well deserving of 5 stars with great customer service too!😊”

“Heard about this from the History Goes Bump Podcast. I’ve been visiting haunted/historical places for over a year now and this place was terrific. The docent was knowledgeable and friendly. The whole building has several areas in ruin but there’s plenty to explore. What makes this place stand out is it’s realness. I’ve been to the Whaley House in San Diego (too pricey for how much you get to see) and the Winchester Mansion in San Jose (way too expensive, but beautiful and rushed) and the Castle was the best. Not rushed, fairly priced, and you weren’t constantly told to stay in certain areas and not touch things. Tip: book online beforehand. Don’t just show up. They have yours posted online. Will def return for a wine tasting night or haunted house!!”

“We stopped at Don Luis for lunch on our way back from Lake Tahoe and it was a great experience. Food and service is top notch. This is one of the best tasting Mexican food I've had in a long time and our servers were awesome too. On a side note, they have the best and cleanest restrooms too. This place is about 2 hr from my home but I'll not hesitate to come back just for food.”

“I went here for the first time ever today with my mother in law, although I did not do laundry she did. She had some comforters to wash. This is a very nice place. I do not recall how much it is to wash but the dryers are only .25 cents for every 6 minutes. So not to bad. And the owner Judy is very nice and professional.”
