My Cafe

My wife and I, visiting from Upstate NY, happened to come across this restaurant when exiting the highway to get some relief from heavy traffic due to an accident on I-880.

It was a very nice find, the food was great (I had a turkey club and wife had a veggie crepe with fresh fruit and orange juice), service was good even though the staff made minimal contact due to covid.

The only drawback was the food was pricey, in my opinion, and didn’t seem worth $50, but then again this place is located in the “Bay Area” (higher cost of living).

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the chain restaurant experience.

I'm not a local so my price tolerance might be off for the area but my only reservation to this place is it's a little high. Good stuff though.

It is a good place to go and get a good breakfast or Dinner and the Employees are Super Nice and very helpful, We always caming back, when we have free time Especially in the Morning, it have Tables outside to eat in, I mean outside😋cas in the end is the same right now, eat in or outside.😊👍

Great breakfast. Super friendly staff! My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes.

We go to breakfast nearly every Sunday to My Café on Thornton in Newark, CA. I wish I'd found this place sooner! It's family friendly, spacious, spik-n-span, with very good service and a very reasonable cost. They specialize in crepes! Savory or sweet, fruity with ice cream or filling with many different fillings. Many of these come with a nice fresh green salad on the side. We especially like the place because even though they are family friendly.
