“Lived there for 3 years and was happy with the park. Managers changed often but all worked hard to better the park. Would live there again. Good schools. Close to everything. Pool and jacuzzi were very nice. And clubhouse was nice. I've seen much much worse. A park is only as good as its owners and managers. Diamond Grove is a decent park to live in.”

Desert Dairy Inn

“Took our family of 4 to Ajo, AZ to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. 4 adults stayed comfortably in the Desert Dairy Inn for 6 days 5 nights. It is a really nicely kept home and we all really enjoyed our stay there. Could easily accomodate more but not so big that even a couple would feel right at home there. Price was right, loved the large Master and Master Bath! Definitely plan to stay there again when visiting family in Ajo. Close to downtown but definitely in a quiet neighborhood away from the daily hustle nestled in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. We felt at home away from home there and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for a great experience overall!”

Any issue I ever had, was resolved in a very timely manner. If you ever find yourself in Southern Arizona and u need a room for the night, u won't find a better place than La Siesta. 10/10 I'll def be back one day. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel has golf and tennis courts. Almost but not quite on the level of a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, but far less expensive.”

Caballo Loco Ranch LLC

Address: 14475 W Britten Ranch Rd, Tucson, AZ 85736, USA

“Interesting remote RV park on what appears to be a former mining area? Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly spots. Some are full hookups, some are dry camping. Community center, trash dumpsters, washroom showers, central fresh water spigots for the dry campers. Seems to be an interesting community of folks that return year after year. Staff was very friendly even to those that showed up without a reservation or prior notice. They found us a spot for a couple nites per our needs. Cell signal is poor for TMobile and Verizon, slightly better with ATT. RV area is rolling ridges and steep sections, this is not a flat RV park. The access road from paved hwy was 7.9 miles of washboard sandy dusty dirt so be warned.”

The clubhouse is so much fun, pool table with TV for watching Sunday football or whatever you'd like, workout room with tv, a quiet area to just sit and read if you'd like, a computer to surf the web and do some shopping, a banquet hall that'd used for various celebrations, a library, Full use of 2 very large pools and jacuzzi with showers- the lap pool is heated and the bigger pool closer to clubhouse is not heated but very refreshing and fun to hang out and watch the grandkids, kids, family play! There is a basketball court, playground" bbqs, and on the Pantano Vista side, a quick 3 minute drive, there's another heated pool, very nice, with chaise lounges, showers and a beautiful landscape to boot. Mount Lemon and the Rincon mountains are practically in your back yard (see pictures) Don't forget there's Christmas light decoration contest, where you can win cash-real cash (we've won, ummm I think it's the 4th time but never #1... Bog Springs Campground

“We were unable to get a spot earlier last week - April (it's very popular, especially with birders) but the ranger told us to try Monday or Tuesday after noon and we were able to choose from 3 open spaces, though only one would have been available for an RV. People in RVs will happily stay for the 14 day maximum, though you can go down the road to the much more remote Proctor campground and wait for a space to open up. Proctor offers dispersed camping, far from the neighbors, but it's lower elevation and in shrubs instead of trees. At Bog Springs, we noticed that the RV next to the toilet relocated to another spot when we were packing up, so it's not hard to get an ideal space if you have time and patience. We only stayed one night and had a great site in the back (sites 9 &10 by the Dutch John Spring trail are tents only). Each site has 1 or 2 picnic tables, fire pits, access to potable water (wonderful!) and ample trees to shade you or to hang a hammock. The campers across the street were camping in the hammocks. As it's getting hot in April in Arizona, it's lovely to be at this camp site that is in the low 80s during the day when it's 90s in Tucson. It dropped to the mid 40s at night, which was perfect sleeping bag weather. In the morning, we were visited by turkeys and deer strolling through.”

“We stayed from 1st week of December 2022 thru April 11th, 2023. Had originally only planned on being at 1 place for 2 weeks at the longest but the need for back surgery changed that. Allynn was very accommodating as we didn't know for certain how long healing would take and kept our spot open to us on a monthly basis giving us spot until we were ready to go and put no pressure on us to decide. They also sent a Christmas meal home with my wife for me as I was bed ridden prior to surgery! Loved the pool and hot tub and the facilities were always clean. Really enjoyed the live music they brought in Perfect spot to find multiple places to hike and short drive to any store needed. We stayed long enough to see 2 baby owls born and sit up in the nest. Made great friends there and will be back yearly.”

Hacienda Linda Bed & Breakfast

Address: 12646 W Fort Lowell Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743, USA

“I saw another reviewer say he'd give Hacienda Linda ten stars if he could....I'd give Hacienda Linda a *hundred* stars if I could. I stayed here back in October and I haven't stopped raving about it since!! Linda and Dan are absolute gems (so much so that I felt like I'd made two new best friends after staying just one night here). The property is exquisite and their home, which they completely renovated themselves, is lovely. For a luxury b&b experience, this is definitely the place to stay in Tucson--the King Suite is super comfortable and had everything I could ever want in a staycation. If you go, I would absolutely add on the dinner package--it is SO worth it. Definitely recommended!!”

“If you want to get away from the city this is the place for you. Management was very nice and helpful during my stay. It’s quiet and you’ll feel secluded away from all the lights and car noise. You have a nice Mountain View literally in your backyard. PLUS if you like some 4x4 off-road action there is a back road towards the back of the RV grounds that leads to the tops of those mountains. I recommend a good lifted 4x4 to keep from scratching the bottom of your truck if you’re a pavement princess. The early morning drive into town will take your breath away with the mountain background and sun coming over the horizon. Best part of my stay here was the star gazing at night. Best views you’ll see at night with your loved ones. Now the downsides. They have an office but nobody is hardly ever there so arrive early if you can get ahold of management to answer your questions but once you get their info to contact them it’s pretty easy to get a hold of them and are very nice and helpful. There is a gun range that echos around the entire area. Sounds like contract workers hammering away but it’s the range. Doesn’t bother me much. It’s not that loud and only goes on during their working hours. At night it’s pretty quiet. The laundry facility looks like it works but nobody has used them in a long time and pretty moldy around the gaskets. Needs some love in there. RV spots are mid spacious, not to close but not to far either, and they have no numbers of designation marked on the spots. Other than that if luxury is your thing this place ain’t for you but if your all about the outdoors and don’t mind the little things this place is great. I’ll definitely come back again.”

“If you are visiting Arizona this is a must stop!! This is my first time back to Colossal Cave since I was kid. The whole family took the Ladder Tour and our Tour Guide Everett was the best!!! The drive down was beautiful. It was very easy to find and had plenty of free parking. The nature trail was short and sweet and it had a gorgeous view. I highly recommend the Ladder Tour for children 12 and up. Everett made the tour so fun and had so much patience for our kids “million questions”. We learned so much and left feeling excited for our next trip back. Thank you Everett and the gift shop attendants for your kindness and help.”

“Super great people. Everyone is friendly. The grounds are well kept and everyone can have lots of fun at the clubhouse, where they hold weekly Project Linus quilt sewing meetings, many many scheduled activities to attend as well a a fantastic park bbq that's free to all tenants, a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner where your just asked to bring a dessert, Santa Clause always comes to see the kids, there's a pool table, the largest of the pools (3) and a heated huge lap pool, a jacuzzi, bbq areas, a playground and a basketball court, and the staff are amazing!”

“First mobile home community I've ever lived in. Was a bit nervous due to everything you hear about "trailer parks". Lived here for 2 years now. Very clean park, well maintained, quite and peaceful. Nice neighbors, great managers who are very responsive. Due to inflation, prices for housing is skyrocketing. I have a 2 bed/2 bath place that costs me less than a decent apartment. Lot rent + all utilities average me $700-$800 per month. I looked at cheaper parks and yeah they were a bit scary. This one has a swimming pool, playground, basketball court, free car wash, laundry room, vending machines including purified water filling. 3 mins from the freeway so quick easy access to most places. Very happy I ended up here.”

Rose Canyon Campground

Address: Catalina Hwy, Mt Lemmon, AZ 85619, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Rose Canyon Campground is a lovely getaway into the cool forest. Lovely vegetation and some interesting critters can be found here. Great for a night or two away from the city. It is quite popular so if you're plan to reserve a spot for the weekend do so at least a month in advance. First come first serve spots fill up fast on the weekend too. Due to it's popularity it might be hard to get away from all of humanity, tho most fellow campers are respectful. The facilities are limited (pit toilets and drinking water spigots) but clean and well maintained. The staff here is respectful and courteous. Great spot to camp.”

“The best thing about my stay at Spencer Canyon Campground was the camp hosts, Mark and his wife. They kept the place very clean and were always friendly. Having clean smelling bathrooms was a great surprise while camping. As others have said, some of the sites are very close together but some allow for more space. The views from the higher number sites, 45+ are amazing as you overlook Tucson. From most of the sites it is a little walk to get to where you can park but a few are closer. I had a relaxing and restful stay.”
