Top Parks in Westside development, Tucson, Pima county, Arizona, United states

Explorer Trailhead

Address: 5975 W Western Way Cir, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA

Park

“This trail along 'first ridge' is worth the effort to be able to see the vista of the Sonoran Desert over to Kitts Peak. The National Park and Tohono O'odham reservation land protect this area from impending development. Enter the trail to the ridge from either end. Take plenty of water, hiking poles, thigh and butt muscles get a workout! Be mindful of the sun.”

JOHN F. KENNEDY PARK

Address: 3700 S Mission Rd, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA

Park

“I love Kennedy Park it has lots to offer. It has basketball court, baseball field, swimming pool, large area for dogs to play, covered picnic tables with barbecue grills, lots of fun here I consider this park one of the safer ones. Doesn't seem to have a large druggie crowd. Several homeless persons but they are friendly and don't appear to be stoned or drunk. I do recommend Kennedy Park.”

Kennedy Park

Address: 3357 S La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA

Park

“Nice park with a small lake stocked with trout. It has picnic shelters, parking, and a small boat launch. Everything looked clean. Good place to visit if you have a hankering to see water.”
