Desert Ashram, Truth Consciousness

Desert Ashram is a peaceful sanctuary, a spiritual retreat from the everyday world. Opportunities for retreats, service, and meditation are available to the public upon request, as are yoga and tai chi classes.

You can expect to find a peaceful and serene atmosphere at the Ashram, from the grounds, to the ashramites, library, etc. Since my very first visit, I’ve been welcomed by all. Everyone is willing to answer questions and engage in conversation in a kind, non-judgemental way. I can’t recommend the Ashram enough. Whatever faith you are from (or even agnostic as I am), all are welcome!

If you are looking for an environment of quiet contemplation this is the place. It has a pristine atmosphere, inspiring one to be able to open ones heart while delving into the many mysteries of the soul. It is maintained by those dedicated to lifelong principals of

An oasis of tranquility and beautiful energy. This gem is hidden amidst the city of Tucson, and anyone who finds it is very blessed. Whether you are familiar with Vedantic teachings or not, I cannot give the appropriate words about spending time at the ashram. It is sublime. I live out of town, and have been there as a guest on 2 separate retreats. I love being there. It's indeed a heart home.
