“I am a current resident here at Salt and I wanted to give a great insight on the true nature of Salt. DO NOT believe all the negative things you see on the property. The new management here is way better than Oliver McMillan (yes, I have been here that long!). They do a great job of making sure that people are not treating this place like garbage and as if it’s a frat house. I have seen this property go from feeling I’m living in a dorm to living in a luxury community. You often see staff members walking the property and taking pictures of patios or people smoking (which is not allowed since it’s a smoke free place) and I am sure this makes people angry. But hey if you don’t follow the rules you need to dealt with. We pay high premium rent here and I would expect if I was doing wrong that im spoken to. Every now and than people have parties and can be loud but for the most part I’m not aware of anywhere you would go where you would not experience this. The property does have courtesy patrol and anytime I have called them the noise stopped immediately. The property is being renovated and I personally cannot believe how much they have completed in the short time they have been here. They started in mid-September, and mind you the property manager Colby sent an e-mail to us with pictures of what all the new areas look like before they started. Let’s take a moment and talk about communication here at Salt since it’s a big deal for me. This place sends out communications weekly if not daily on all updates on the property. If an elevator is down for maintenance, I know about it, if an amenity is closed for renovation, I know about it. If a Food Truck is arriving for an event and I need to hurry up and RSVP so YES, THEY PAY FOR MY MEAL, I know about it. Not only do I get an e-mail but I also have the resident app which sends notifications too. Ok back to the new stuff! They added hammocks to the back pool that faces the lake, a new game lawn which I am told they have Connect 4 & Cornhole coming which I am excited about because I love to entertain (when COVID isn’t messing that up). The pools were re-done and look amazing. The best is the pools were closed for like 2 weeks while they were re-done. I do have to say people do break glass in the pools and the staff closes them but not sure id be upset about that since I wouldn’t want to swim with broken glass.The gates to the garage were completely re-done and now have stop lights on them so you know when you can drive-in or out and clear the gate. I love this feature as I have a rack on my car and while sometimes, I think I’m good and I’m not so love this new feature. The gates are only open during office hours which I wish they were closed all the time but the property was built with two spaces in the front so can’t do that if people are coming by to see the place. Nothing they can do about that now since the place is already built. The property does have electric car charging stations which I think is great for those that have electric vehicles. The place also has elevators so you don’t have to take the stairs if you live on an upper floor like me! We also have trash chutes on our floor which I love considering I lived at other places in Tempe and they make you go all the way to the garage to dump out the garbage. Lastly, the maintenance team here is extraordinary. Yoshi, Tim & Rico are always around the property making sure it looks great. You can tell they love their job they give off great vibes. Every work order I have ever put in has been fixed the first time on the same day or next day of when I put the issue in the system. Overall, this place is amazing to live and its clear in the negative reviews from people they must not have got their way or got in trouble and now trying to take it out on reviews. The place seems like its always full based on the turn out at events and even just the amount of people at the pool and gym. I love living here and really thank Salt team for all they do and happy to be here. I HIGHLY recommend people move here.”

“Love this place!!! I used to go to the one on mill Ave and then they moved to Tempe marketplace. I went in yesterday. Haven’t been in a while. I feel bad I never got anyones name, but the lady who helped me when I was looking at things was just so thoughtful and attentive. I was alone and she was there like she was my friend telling me if it looked great or didn’t work. Then the woman who seemed like a manager checked me out and she had amazing positive energy. This store has such a great selection and works for so many body types. My favorite store for sure.”

“Use the shop online. Pick up in store option and it was a breeze, items were cheaper at Target than any of the stores nearby which was surprising. Online quantity showed only one available and thankfully what's theirs. So kudos for accurate inventory. Very, pleased with the whole experience. “I'm not sure why the other people below me gave this a 1 star. The parking garage really isn't that bad and it's close to the Tempe Lake and A Mountain. It's nice and shaded, but if you do come in during a weekday, you can expect the garage will be full and at 5 pm, yes, there can be a line of cars parading down to their exit. Then, sometimes, you have that one guy who doesn't have a monthly pass try exit out of the monthly pass exit which can sometimes cause a jam... Parking is $6 an hour if you don't have a monthly pass.... and I'd still go with the Mission Palms lot about 5 minutes from this lot- they charge only $2 an hour.”

“The girlfriend and I stopped by for a little treat and to escape the awful sun outside. The churros were warm and delicious. We both got chocolate dipped, and the chocolate was really tasty. It was more reminiscent of dark chocolate and we thought it was perfect. The only thing I'd note is the sprinkles were a bit "grainy" and made for a bit of an odd texture. But the flavors were on point, prices were fair, and we'd absolutely come back.”

“Attended a FREE Blues Concert next to Dave's and Buster's, it was good. The atmosphere was peaceful, the crowd was older and the music hit the spot. These concerts will be held every weekend, just Google it and you'll find all the information needed to enjoy some nice nights and who knows "you might get lucky".”

“Went a couple months ago. The gentleman who helped us was very nice and helpful. He worked within our budget and actually got us a great deal. The scottsdale location was closing and were having a clearance sale. Not only was it half the price, they were able to take even more off that. He offered to have it delivered and setup for a fee but its not too hard to do myself. I met up with him, he took it apart, loaded it up and off I went. Setup was really quick and intuitive.”

“Ken is the man. What a meticulous nail technician. The salon is clean, open and organized and large! You are seated wherever you choose and the technician comes to you. The color book has an awesome variety of colors I don’t normally see in every salon. His massage lasted 10 minutes and was AMAZING.
