She has an assistant Mary, at this time that does not speak English well ! I found her very hard to understand. She was to get me pain medication, did not happen ! She blamed me for not getting it ! She was to get a walker for me ! Never happened ! The home Nurse procured one for me but don’t you know this Mary took credit for it. She would talk while I was trying talk, she never listened… On the bright side….If you ever need a doctor that is in Dr. Powell field , you will always be happy that Dr. Powell was there for you!!!”

“Nice coffee shop in an old historic home. Right next to some new high rises. Ordered the special of the day, which was great. It was a hot drink too, and I usually order cold brew. Look forward to trying that next time. I also ordered their healthier cookie with oats, nuts, and dried berries which was pretty good too. The girl taking our order was also friendly and helped explain some of the menu items to us. They have one larger front room (pictured below) as well as another smaller room with a couch and some other chairs, that is also where they make the coffee.”

“This is a great place to go in groups. the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing; there’s such fun paintings, the lighting, the outdoor seating area.. it’s great. Not too many waiters that I saw, perhaps because it was slow. Their customer service was nice; very understanding and attentive. The pricing is amazing! Very very affordable; I paid less than 30 for two; including extra side and drink. The food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the potato salad or the excessive fat on the pork belly, but the wings were great; crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. not too spicy though; the Nashville hot was nowhere near as hot as I expected it to be, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing; they were still flavorful. As for the pork belly I had ordered, I’ve ordered it at other places before and really not a picky eater, but I could not stomach the extra fat; at times, it grossed me out to the point that I couldn’t finish it. Aside from the fat, the rest of the pork belly was delicious. The meat was flaky on the outside but juicy on the inside and the sauce was perfect. The mac & cheese is great not sure if it was oven baked or not, but definitely creamy.”

“I loved the relaxed atmosphere of Angel’s Trumpet. I’ve met friends here several times just for drinks so I haven’t had the opportunity to try their food yet but I’ve heard it’s great. I had seen on their menu that they offer a house made pop tart (with rotating flavors monthly) and stopped in to get one (to-go). I’m so glad I did because it was delicious! “These guys are 5 star and it's not for nothing. My apt was gut renovated and brand new yet we had a constant roach issue. After some back and forth via messaging, someone came within 2 days and assessed the entire apt top to bottom. Our contractor left many areas unsealed so they took photos and sent them to me! We hired a handyman, marked all areas with tape and had everything taken care of. We haven't seen a roach since and I'm A LOT less jumpy when I see a shadow! Plus I'm not nervous anymore when guests come over that they MIGHT see a roach. If you need piece of mind, look no further.”

This is a beautiful little neighborhood establishment that takes great pride in its offerings. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and had passion for what they do. We had a lovely meal, drinks and dessert. All choices were excellent and our server was perfect. If you have an opportunity, please check them out! Absolutely amazing! “Love this h¾ floor, you pay only $35 PER NIGHT. I think it's only $45 it you want a private bathroom. Make sure you are very respectful and u should be fine with the owners, who live on-site. I was there for First Friday's and the price was the same whether it's a holiday or not. One of the best things is that it is right next door to Matt's Big Breakfast, the absolute best breakfast/lunch you'll ever find!”
