“Fantastic place! The facility itself is beautiful and airy with lots of natural light (which is super important to me for morale/mental health). Get this- I've even seen a dog there once. Like, playing outside. Everyone here is kind, attentive, and seem to work in sync with one another. Their equipment is of nice quality (I wouldn't know much because I don't play sports or work out a bunch but it all seems well maintained and clean!). As a larger-bodied person I'm always a bit nervous of doing things that center around my body but I'm not made to feel lesser-than by anyone and I don't feel like a spectacle- The therapists here are kind to me and respect my limits but work to push them so I can get back on my feet (like, I broke my ankle... so... it's a bit literal). I appreciate all of their help and kindness- Being in a position where you can help someone regain a part of themself is such a special job to be in. You can tell these people take that seriously. :)”
