The people are very nice and accommodated us to make sure this happened for us. They know their history, which makes it all the more special. “Came here from over 20 hours away and tried multiple campgrounds most didn’t answer or were 55+ resorts. Desert Oasis was recommended by a coworker so I drove out there. The parks staff did very prompt work of moving a few rigs around to make mine fit….the staff here is too notch and instantly made me feel at home. “Scorpion Bay Grill is really an excellent experience, especially given the fabulous location and views! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, including a patio area for dogs. The food was delicious with a good selection of options to please everyone in our group. The one downside my party experienced was the wait-time and the overall lack of efficiency of the restaurant. Waitstaff seemed to be operating a little slowly, so it not only took over an hour to be seated, but it then took a decent amount of time to give our order, receive food, pay, etc. That being said, the food was so delicious, I am glad we waited! I will definitely return!”
