“I’ve been going to this WIC clinic since I was pregnant with my first baby girl. There is a lady name Monica that works there, she has been there since I can remember. I absolutely love her, she goes above and beyond for me every time and today she continues to do as she always does. I had a recertification appointment that I missed IN FEBRUARY. There is so much going on that I just threw WIC on the back burner but I called today because I am in need of an benefits. The First Lady I spoke with said there isn’t an appointment until Tuesday, a week from yesterday. I told her I really need benefits today but she was able to get me an appointment for tomorrow morning, over the phone because that’s how you do it with covid. So that was that. No more than 20 minutes later my phone rings and there’s miss MONICA. She did my certification right then and told me I would get another call and have benefits TODAY. I pray she is blessed throughout life. She’s amazing every time but this time she went above n beyond for me. Bless this woman.”

“This review is for Center for Hope. I was homeless, pregnant and addicted, having just lost my rights to my 3 other children when they took me in. I was able to keep my baby because of this program. I ended up spending a total of 15 months there with my son. They provided everything for the both of us and gave me the skills to keep moving forward. I was also able to receive training to obtain my Peer Support Certification and was hired at Terros all while at CFH. I will be celebrating 4 years sober August 2nd and I owe that to this program and the amazing women who were there with me. I recommend this place to any pregnant woman struggling with addiction.”

“Loved the experience of being in the clinic. However I will warn that if you move states it's almost impossible go get your records from these people. I've given several working emails to receive the release papers I need to get my kids records. I even had other people email me to make sure all emails were in fact working. I received all of them . Then I had the kids new pediatrician send a release over. They refuse to release them to that clinic. When I ask to get another email sent to me. They say yes of course and I still haven't received one. This shouldn't be this difficult. Other clinics got me their records within a week. No excuses. I've been trying for 3 months ! And now my kid might not be able to start school in a week because of how unhelpful staff has been. Update: Esmaralda helped me solve my issue and I have already received my children's records so they will start school on time.”

“No, it’s not the fanciest. Yes, the beds are flat and plastic. Yes, the pb&j sandwiches get old fast. But the people who work here care more about the people they see than anywhere else I’ve seen. The nurses and staff have been through it themselves and make everyone who walks in feel safe and understood and cared about. They go out of their way to bring in ice cream, make hot breakfast, and just sit and listen. These are good people who do good work.”

“I don’t understand why there’s so many negative reviews. Yes they give you meager food servings, yes you get a bed that is really just a recliner, yes employees can get snippy, and ALOT of other things we can complain about. But you know what? ITS FREE!!! You should be thanking them for offering that to people who need it but can’t afford it. If you want to be treated like the royalty you think you are, pay tens of thousands of dollars for a resort style detox. As uncomfortable as it was, it probably saved my life last these last couple of days, as well as others that I could see.”

“The Bread People have been delivering bread to my home for almost a year. Every Tuesday, they arrive with a large basket of beautiful bread for me to pick from. I took one of the large braided loafs to a dog park party, and everyone scarfed it down. My husband is eating the smaller loaf for breakfast, and I can't wait to devour the banana bread. This bread is to die for! Quality ingredients, and totally made with love. The Bread People have a talent for what they do, and now that I know where to find them, I can refer all my friends who were asking about where to get more of this amazing bread! (nom-nom-nom)”
