“I am a counselor with Insight Academy of Arizona. Our school culture is, without a doubt, the best working environment I've ever encountered. Our academic director, Erica Cunningham, works tirelessly to support our efforts by providing oversight, assistance, guidance, and freedom. She accepts that we are professionals in our respective fields and allows us the freedom to exercise our professional judgement (within reason) for the best interest of our students. We receive students who are removed from other schools for various reasons... attendance, health, bullying, behavior, academic performance.... For many students, we are the last hope. Our teachers hold live lessons, help sessions, small groups, and individual sessions. Our advisors reach out to each student each week. Our counselors reach out to each student each trimester. The result is students who are engaged and who achieve. Our school certainly isn't perfect... but we know where we need to improve. We have expert leadership who target specific areas for improvement and challenge the staff to identify solutions that we can implement to better support our students and one another in achieving those targeted goals. I can assure you though, while we're not perfect, the passion our staff exudes and the level of support your student will receive with Insight Academy of Arizona is unmatched.
