On the way down to Anchorage I stopped through the other day and was blown away at how much they’ve expanded the storefront has expanded, and how many blades they’ve added to inventory. The staff are all super nice and very courteous… and they have a ton of knowledge about the knives they’re selling. No-pressure experience, and happy to show you anything you’d like to look at. “If all you need is a quick passport photo, it's tough to beat. I had my picture taken within 5 min then waited 10 for the photos. Yes it cost $14.99, for 2-2x2 photos, but their software checked it for acceptability, so there should not be any problems. Convince costs, but not that much.”

“Don't bother going anywhere else for counter tops. My boyfriend and I renovated a house a few years ago and had a horrible experience with a company in Anchorage. I won't call out the company because they did right by us and gave a full refund but the job they did was comically terrible. There were chips in the quartz, a corner was clearly broken off and glued back on, the slab was not square on the cabinets, they claimed an undermount bathroom sink "was not square" and that's why the cut out was crooked (Panco used the exact same sink with zero issues) and the seams were just horrendous. Panco came in after months of headache and did an absolutely gorgeous job. Night and day difference between the two installs. Years later we still could not be happier with our counter tops and are about to place our second order with them on our new rental.”

My husband and I are currently living on the east coast while building new construction in Alaska, as such we could not personally attend any selection meetings, however Nicole helped us expertly over zoom and via email. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and made so many valuable suggestions as we designed the kitchen, selected flooring, carpet, tile etc over zoom. She was always so mindful of our budget and did an outstanding job of providing us with so many options that were in budget. Throughout the building process we have interfaced with countless vendors, and my husband and I unanimously agree that Nicole has been the single BEST we have had the privilege of working with!!!”

“I was abandoned by another pest control service, and Eagle came to my rescue. Randy received my call and sent Lee to conduct the service just 3 days following. Lee was very straightforward and suggested that the outdoor bait boxes the other provider was scheduled to install were not really the best solution for us. Instead, Lee inspected the house and confirmed that we had no infestation. He then installed proper indoor bait boxes in the garage, crawlspace, and in the kitchen to protect against any unwanted visitors. I feel confident that Lee's approach will provide the protection that I wanted while not exposing any critters outside of our house to poisons. And the cost was reasonable - less than BrandX would have charged. I highly recommend Eagle Pest Control.”

“Scheduled an estimate with them and had a great experience with their designer who had to come out instead of the usual estimators. Dayna did a great job and listened to all my concerns and requests. She chose a great contractor as well. They made everything so easy and I even got some significant money back for extra work that didnt end up needing to be done. Dayna made herself entirely available and stayed super late just to make sure the transaction went through after a hiccup with my bank. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs their flooring job handled with outstanding customer service.”

“If you're looking for antiques and some unique modern items then you need to visit Rusty Raven Uniques. Rusty Raven Uniques is the closest antique store to the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport; approximately 4-5 miles or an 11 minute drive. I was impressed with the collection of kitchen and home antiques. I think Rusty Raven Uniques is the only antique store in Anchorage with a fishing lure taller than myself! If you have a home bar then you'll find some amazing neon signs, taps, and antique merchandise. You'll need at least an hour to see most of the antiques in the store. “Love our hardware we added to the cabinets. Deluxe interior had a larger selection of the collection we liked compared to other places we went to in the Valley with competitive pricing too. We were wanting a more classic look for our fireplace and fell in love with the tile brick they had. Prior to seeing the tile here, I can’t count how many other places we went to and found nothing similar! I originally wrote a review here a couple days back thinking we had difficulties with call backs. Immediately the owner Laura, reached out to us, with great record keeping, turned out to be a misunderstanding on my part. It meant the world to me that she responded promptly and had a genuine concern we were unhappy customers. I’ve deleted my original review, and humbly say I was incorrect and in fact their customer service was impeccable as well as their follow through! We would definitely go back to Deluxe Interiors for future home needs!”
