“Myself and my wife Susan have always been keen cyclists, however I had a knee replacement late 2016 and she had to have a hip replacement at the start of 2017. After having these ops it has made it a bit harder to get up steep hills in our area, which is why we started thinking about going electric... We have been members of a local cycling group and year after year people are upgrading to electric. One of our friends recommended Electric Bike Conversions Ltd to us and as we only live in Hertford, we thought we'd pop down and have a look. We were welcomed by Sarah and Jamie at reception, who kindly allowed us to try their demo bikes out. As Susan has a step through bike, they gave us the options of converting her bike with a rack battery (positioned behind her saddle) with a 250w front wheel kit. I decided to go for the 250w rear kit with the downtube battery (fitted where my water bottle once was). They even offered the service of fitting the kits for us, at a small cost. We went off for a couple hours to get a bite to eat and when we go back, they were both done! Remarkable service and really friendly and helpful team! Thank you EBC, Harry and Susan”
