“We layed 120 rolls of RTF grass in the middle of June this year, 2019. I can't believe how well it did. We are facing east/south at Lake Erie. Very hot and dry. So I am surprised how well it did. The RTF grass was recommended by Young Sod because we had such a hot and dry area. I called them today to see if they had the RTF grass seed and they do. I want to touch up a few areas where the ground didn't have enough top soil added on top of our septic bed and therefore the grass is yellowing. This has nothing to do with the sod and only to do with the thin layer of top soil. I will also buy their fertilizer.”

“I was looking to take a friend from out of town for a perch dinner.....happened to be on a Tuesday, when it is hard to find. Hippos came through on a recommendation, and it did not miss. Great spot right out on the water with a real chill vibe. Order and take your number, grab a seat and visit the bar on the other side of the patio. One had the complete perch dinner $21 and the other the fish tacos for $12?....all in all a great experience and a great place to catch some sun and views and relax over some good food and a beer.”
