The remodelling of their classic rooms is a must see once fully reopened, and the Archibald always attracts significant talent and some truly breathtaking portraits. The staff were lovely, welcoming and informative, the installations were interactive, the building was fresh and seats are provided. Sculpture, film, 2D, and culinary were on display at the time of my visit. Ramps and lifts are available for accessibility and there's investigation activities for the older kids- great venue for arty teens and their families. The location surrounded by gardens, stores and restaurants is fabulous too! Undercover parking about a 2 minute walk away on Stanley Street. Wear comfy shoes as you'll be wandering from piece to piece in wonder and not notice how much walking and standing you're doing 😇”
