Veterans Park

Would rate it 5 star but it's way too close to the busy street. Therefore, the traffic makes it very loud.

Good time listening to the music and eating a fantastic pulled pork sandwich from yummy bones, with all the kids petting my Samoyed, Cappi!

Nice little park, but appears to be somewhat neglected. Dead rotting animal out in the open that had been there for a while, weeds in all of the flowerbeds, some trash on the ground, etc. I didn't mind picking up the trash, but left the critter alone.

Great park in downtown Saukville. We were actually here for the annual car show, but when we showed up it was moved to nearby Triangle Park and some side streets due to previous days soaking the grounds. No biggie, still a great show! Veterans Park is still a fantastic area in itself. Baseball diamond, nice covered picnic table area, plenty of playground equipment and is well maintained by the city. If there is an event being held there at least it's in a decent spot and has ample parking. On site restrooms were clean and there is a tennis court too. Highly recommended.

Its a park that you would picture from the deep south. As its in the middle of town and its a a triangle shape with a nice gazebo. On my visit on 09/09/18 it was due to a car show location that was orginally under water a week ago. The park has a good mixture of tables with umbrellas and benches. The city of Saukville keeps the grass very immaculate along with the nice colored cement that is handicapped friendly as well
