(July 24, 2018, 8:24 pm)I had a wonderful experience renting with Docken Management during my time in grad school in Madison. I loved my apartment and everyone was very professional, quick to respond, and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about the company. Would highly recommend.
(July 16, 2018, 5:30 pm)I lived at University Gables last year. I absolutley LOVED the apartment building. Unfortunately my living situation turned sour, and I was stuck living with an abusive ex-boyfriend for 11 months. When things with him got so bad that I had to move out (though still responsible for my part of rent), the management was understanding and let me provide them with my half of rent in post-dated checks before I left town. They were sympathetic to my bad situation, and I wish I had been in better circumstances, as I would have lived in their building's for years.

From beginning to end, this rental company has been nothing short of amazing. Paul and Anne are very friendly, approachable, reasonable, and delightful rental managers to have. They genuinely care about what they do, which tends to make quite a difference. Not to mention, these two are some of the most responsible and trustworthy people I have come across during my apartment searches.
Their office is located in a unit in the middle of the Lakewood complex, which makes for quick, accessible conversations and rent turn-ins, as well as adding to the comfortable feel of the whole experience (including cookies and an aquarium!) There's even a little free library in front of it!
Maintenance requests are handled quickly, professionally, and courteously.
The complex is located in an amazing spot for busline activity (Route 2, runs every half-hour from either side of the complex), as well as walking access to Tenney Park, and nestled into a short bike ride away from Williamson and Atwood neighborhoods. The grounds are kept beautifully, and there's a lot of green-thumb action from the neighbors, who have made their front and side gardens into works of natural art.
While our time here was short, we very much enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend anyone out there looking for an apartment to consider Docken to rent from!
(February 20, 2017, 3:49 am)Docken Management has been the best rental company I've ever rented from. The management is great and they respond to inquiries and work orders extremely quickly. They take pride in their properties, so they all look beautiful and are well maintained, and I think they give you a really fair deal for what you get. 10/10 highly recommend!
