I've always enjoyed just walking in. Having someone greet me and guide me to whatever I need, suggest what I need and advise how best to do the job. Today I needed to make a costume ray gun. They spent 20 minutes figuring out how to get this attached to that among the hundreds of plumbing parts and adapters.

Love this place! Love the people who own it! Extra special love their paint dept! Those fellas can match ANYTHING, and can answer any question you could ever think of. It's such a different experience from the big chain stores. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and they care about their customers. I wouldn't consider any other hardware store if it's something Lakewood Hardware carries or can get.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is always someone to greet me and they always make sure I have what I need before I leave.
Their small engine repair tech is so full of information and I never feel like I'm being cheated when having equipment services.
