Kitsap Regional Library, Sylvan Way

Very quiet place to be at. I haven't been to this library in ages. When I was a child, I used to go to a kids area to get Sesame Street stuff and sometimes Curious George.

Rules: keep your backpack near you at all times. And don’t leave laptops unattended during bathroom breaks due to real threat of theft. Thanks for the heads up Kitsap Library Staff!

Clean, inviting, the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Wide variety of interests from books and videos for babies to video games and a teen section for teens to adult books, computers, community events, etc.

One of the best libraries I've been to. Highly recommend.

Decent layout, wish there were more study/sitting areas, and that are more private and secluded even. The one private study room they do offer and is available upon request. When I say small room? I mean it may not be so suitable for all especially if you're closterfobic! Open Monday-Saturday closed Sunday's! Unfortunately they're only open @ Ten Am until Five Pm so no after work studying runs or sessions for anyone that works a regular schedule weekly. I do really appreciate and like the activities and events they hold and offer for little ones and adults. Something for all ages! Clean comfy library all together though. Some staff can get a little judge and or snooty and rude like at times but then they go away and leave you be again once they say what they need or want about your mask but nothing major

Everyone here is so kind and so helpful. I LOVE the new book bundles you can sign up for where the librarian handpicks books for your age and interests. My child looks forward to getting his books everytime. Thank you Kitsap Library for all that you do!
