They have moved 2 pianos for us and they make it look easy (but it's not really).

There is always a silver lining in everything including the pandemic! My fiancé owns an old Mathushek upright which had 5 keys with no sound. One additional key had a hammer missing. With shelter-in-place order, I decided to find someone to fix them so I could at least practice playing. My friend did some research for me and found Dean.

After realizing I was in New York, Dean agreed to walk me through over the phone what I needed to do to fix these keys. Since I had no experience in piano repairs, I took pictures and videos for Dean to review and give me step-by-step instructions. After more than an hour and a half on the phone, I was able to fix the problems, and now I can now play! Dean explained the parts and process in an easy-to-understand manner with humor which put me at ease. Thank you, Dean, for your patience and offer to do a remote repair for me.

Dean is amazing! He has parts for just about every kind of piano imaginable. He is skilled in just about everything to do with pianos - teacher, mover, repairer... And he is a kind and thoroughly entertaining person too!
