Crown Park

Beautiful and open with many trees. Even had a horseshoe area. Enjoy!

My family comes to the park often. We love it here. The play structures are a little old, but they work well.

Two great slides at east end of park, a merry-go- round, and a type of teeter totter. Not too plastic and babyish. Top Burger close.

Well-groomed, paved trails seemed geared more towards families with small children (in strollers). Pretty scenery, if a bit too manicured. People were discriminatory towards my Blue-Nose pitbull on sight, regardless of how friendly and goofy she truly is (yes, she was leashed, but we got dirty looks from unfriendly people walking their groomed poodles and designer dogs. Too many people for my taste. I prefer walking where you're not rubbing shoulders with the nameless masses and having people running you down to pass and get in front of you or making it difficult by walking slowly and blocking the path in front of you.

Easy parking. Lots of easy trails and paths to navigate and beautiful scenery.
