Poquoson Museum

I would never have found this place if it wasn't for geocaching. Nice little museum, but I didn't really go inside, I just talked to a couple of people. Great garden area with some really interesting learning activities. And the nature trail was very nice, with informative signs all the way through it. The whole area seems to be in the middle of a neighborhood, but it wasn't very obvious when I was hiking. Trails are flat, and wide enough for strollers and wheelchairs. There's parking for 6 to 8 cars.

I'm very local and enjoyed outbuildings and inside items. Local life we do not often see.

Wonderful place to take the kids. Beautiful walking trail with an elevated path over wet-lands. Easy access and wheel-chair accessible. The walking path is about one and a quarter miles, across fields, under the trees, over raised walkways.

Was my sons first field trip and he was amazed. Its a good learning experience for kids about bees. Very educational.
