This is a friendly church. I tried a couple of Lutheran churches before I ended up here a few years ago. The diversity here is wonderful! They have "relaxed" services every other weekend. There are life groups for everyone. They do a lot of service projects locally for schools and organizations. I'm proud to call this my home church! They have made my multi-race family feel welcome and a part of the community. Pastor Johann is so very kind and emails personally when you have prayer requests or concerns.

The Easter sunrise service was outside and intimate. We read the story we all know happened, but it just started the whole day out so well, that even having to report to work at 730am wasnt so bad. The rest of the day was easy like Sunday morning.

We've been coming here for about 1.5 years and are glad we made the switch. Coming from a megachurch, we really like the intimacy of OSW with pastors that all know your name. Great Sunday school programs for the kids and Sunday school classes for adults that are lead by the pastors on staff. Sermons are biblically based and the services offer both traditional and contemporary styles.

My husband and I have attended here for five years. They have a wonderful Children's ministry - outstanding Sunday School, VBS, and youth group programs. The contemporary worship style will truly move your spirit! The doctrine is rooted in the Word and the people are warm, welcoming and caring. Come join our church family!
