The Schoolfield Restaurant

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! A hidden gem in Danville that deserves way more accolades! Food is top notch, and was so excellent we felt like we must've left town to have had such wonderful options!! The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, and his staff are wonderful and professional. This is a new favorite for sure and we will be returning!! The atmosphere is small, but doesn't make you feel crowded in. Lighting is perfect to set the tone for an elegant evening without having to go far. This is by far the number one place to go for a date night or special occasion!

The food was exceptional. I had the crabcake appetizer which was amazing I especially liked the sauce that was served on the side. My wife had the fried green tomato chicken breast which she really enjoyed and I had an 8 oz filet that seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. To finish the key lime pie which was as good as any I've eaten anywhere! Thanks for a great, memorable meal. We truly enjoyed it.

My husband and I went here for dinner on Sunday night! It was amazing! Great atmosphere, fabulous food and our server, John, was awesome! The prices were very reasonable too! We would definitely go back and recommend

Certainly among the best restaurants in town (the other nice place: Moon River Thai). Quality ingredients, including fresh seafood. Crab cake appetizer was delicious.
The owner is nice, and from New England.

Not their fault, but some patrons were loudly watching a sports show..at one of the only places in town that are thankfully screen free.

And we'd delivery a six star rating as this place goes above and beyond any other place in Danville! The food is always the best, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Calamari and ribeye were perfectly cooked and seasoned on our most recent visit. It's just an experience that one cannot find anywhere in Danville.
